If that's what 'decimated' means, then you're only allowed to use 'egregious' to mean 'honoured, outstanding' (many such cases).

Enormity is the one that bugs me.

That one irritates me, but nothing does as much as inaccurate use of "literally".

Most of these I'm ok with because language evolves and the meanings of words are part of that. "I could care less" isn't that, it's just people not even thinking about what they're saying.
