I'm sure Reo-Coker will be keen to play in this one... we should beat this lot though!

I rather fear the days of dismissing teams like Bolton as 'this lot' as if we are some big club looking down from our lofty pearch as one of the elite of the Premier League may be over?

Bolton have got a great team this year, some really talented players in Chris Eagles, Gary Cahill (as we know), Kavin Davies, jussi jaaskelainen, Tuncay, Ivan Klasic, Reo-Coker etc.

Personally I find this a bit of a tough draw, the sort of game that gets dubbed a 'banana skin' by our media adversaries.

After the last two times we have met them in cup games,i am expecting another hard fought game with little to choose between us.Still it could have been Man City away.

Date for the Bolton game has been set.

"The date for Villa's Carling Cup clash with Bolton has been announced.

The third round match with the Trotters takes place on Tuesday September 20 at Villa Park.

The game will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Villa made it through to this stage with a hard-fought victory over Hereford.

Eric Lichaj and Nathan Delfouneso scored the goals as Alex McLeish's young charges secured safe passage through at the expense of the Bulls."
