Enjoyable day yesteday. Nice ground not far from the city center although the turn out from the home fans was disapointing. The atmosphere struggled to get going imo and fans around us were more concerned with taking the piss out of the stewards instead of supporting the team, which is ok for a few minutes but tiresome for any longer.

We did what was expected of us and I cannot remember 3 better goals that we've scored in the same game. They put us under a bit of pressure without creating much.

Our names in the hat for the next round so cannot ask for much more and hopefully it will give us some confidence to take into the game next week.

Can't think of a defender scoring on his debut before
Stuart Gray played left back every now and then but he was definitely in midfiled on his debut (Bardford away)

Didn't another debutant score that day too?  4-2 wasn't it?

4-2 yes, Andy Gray scored too and it was his debut, it was a fantastic game considering they were going so well at the time but we were awesome on the road that season.

That video, along with a number of other's from 1987,  was on YouTube a couple of years back. Sadly not on now. All we have is the Blose v Villa - Garry Thompson's double.

A guy with the name trees ??? posted it.
