Walk along the canal towpath.
The Grand Union is just the other side of the ring road. Short way up you go along the Digbeth branch until you get to the Fazeley canal, walk up there and come off at the Rocky Lane bridge. 45 minutes tops.

I'd travel in a time machine, back to the future.

Anything's the future after you visit St Andrews - it really is a hovel and not saying that with any bias

Best way to get there via public transport Saturday afternoon after the under 23 game
make sure you've had your anti-scum jabs
