Amavi can come back, but he had a year of injury and then has had to play pretty much every game. He needs a break and Taylor gives him that opportunity, but I think Amavi will become a fine player in time.

I like Amavi a lot but for a good month now he's been a liability. Being the worst fullback performance wise in a side that includes Hutton in every game is some going. I think he needs a few games out.

Did I hear that the Chinese transfer window is still open? If so, let's get whichever club interested in Amavi on the blower quick sharp.

I know he had a bad injury but let's be honest, for £9m or close to it, he looks fucking terrible. Looks like a £2m gamble signing.

Yup. They've got until 28 February. Watch out or they'll come in and snatch him at the 11th hour.....or even sooner if Dr X is involved.

Amavi as a wing back would be better, give him the opportunity to bom forward and get some crosses in. I think he is the best crosser of a ball we have.

I really rate him, but he's not giving me much to go on of late, and he was fucking terrible last night.

He was worse defensively against Wolves but at least gasped one good run in that game

TIME GENTLEMEN PLEASE! Haven't you got Amavi threads to talk about this on?

Until somebody wants to start the summer transfer rumour thread...
