Does anyone think we'll get to 20 points?

I wouldn't bet anything of value on it.  At the moment its hard to see where the next point is coming from let along three or four.

It's hard to comprehend that we're probably as bad as those derby and sunderland teams.  Quite a feat by Randolph after challenging for the champions league 5/6 years ago

Unfortunately, we look like more of a QPR than a Hull or Burnley at the moment

QPR? More like Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday a decade ago.

Can't agree with the Leeds comparison, they had mortgaged against 10 years of season tickets sales (not sure on the exact number of years but a lot) whereas we've got our wage/turnover ratio back to something like normal.

Wednesday is a better comparison but even then I'd guess that they were relegated before the financial void formed between the championship and the PL.  We will have the financial doping of the parachute payments for a couple of years compared to their predicament.

Not saying everything is rosy by any stretch but I don't think we will be handicapped like they were.

They were talking about Andy King scoring for Leicester tonight, and noted this time seven years ago, he was scoring in League One against the likes of Stockport.

Now, last Sunday it was also noted it was six years since Phil Dowd didn't send Vidic off. To me that seems like yesterday, but I bet even if Villa are in Leicester's position in seven years, it will feel like every day of those seven years.

Rather optimistically, I have us getting another four points!! We only score another four goals too.
