And then follows it up with a podium at Ghent - Wevelghem even after being blown off his bike by a massive gust of wind and hour or so before the finish.  Nails.

 Alexander Kristoff  winning Scheldeprijs following his success in the Three Days of De Panne  and the Tour of Flanders.

Not a bad treble and he now goes for Paris-Roubaix although I would put a fair amount of money on him not winning that.  His legs must ache a bit.

So...no Paris-Roubaix for Sir Brad, shame but he did not let himself down, that is such a hard race and  Degenkolb the best man on the day won.  Wiggins described it as "soft" and I think he was right, weather was decent and it lacked a Cancellara or Boonen to set it alight.  I thought Sagan might be the man to take over their mantle but he is, for his team and the money that have spent, worryingly failing to deliver so far.

Bad news, Valvarde won both Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Flèche Wallonn.

Good news - not a Spring Classic but Cav has won the first two stages of the Tour of Turkey and seems to be getting back to fitness after illness. The second stage was won despite riding with a slow puncture for the last 5km.
