Washed down with a warm Smoothflow in a plastic glass bought for a sky high price from a spotty dimwitted youth in the stand? Retches.

Football Focus itinerary: 1) Mignolet interview, 2) 20 minutes' feature on Manchester United, 3) Mention Manchester United repeatedly, 4) 10 minute feature placing the game in a poor light e.g. refereeing decisions, touchline argy bargy, Mourinho mischief, 5) No more than once per season, feature one of the other PL clubs, 6) finish with a Manchester United clip. Repeat weekly August until May.

oh you have spoilt it now,  don't need to watch it now for the rest of the season

Shock horror!
I will only be happy if the feature on another PL club is Chelski, ManC or Arse (perhaps Spuds too because they've spent millions and will obviously whither and die without Bale!).

It would be nice to keep a clean sheet - for more than 6 minutes anyway!
Just leaving - COME ON YOU VILLA BOYS!

Nighty night. Much as I'd like to sit up between 2.30 and 4.30am, I'll pass. Hope to wake up to some good news!

I will be taking my son to do a bit of house hunting in Cambridge then it's off to Stansted Airport to pick my other son up. I will be listening and keeping up with the game, give the boys a cheer for me.

After a couple of really good performances I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't quite reach those heights today.  Again I think this is all about putting in a good display and hopefully getting something out of the game.
I would be settle for a point but would expect all three.

How come everyone we bloody play their main threat has his best record against the Villa!

This has always been the case, remember Fowler in the 90s!

@thegoalzone: VILLA FANS: M6 closed southbound between J11 to J10.  One lane closed northbound. M54 also closed Eastbound from M6 to J1

My psyche has been trained to expect a big come-down today. I think we do tend to struggle at home more than away. We're still very much a counter-attacking unit. Also our record against these aint great.

That said, we look to have more about this season, we showed plenty of fight and improvement in our first two games. Tough choice regarding Okore and Clark. Okore looks pure class but Clark did very well coming on at Arsenal.

Like a few others, expectation scares me as a Villa fan.
