anyway just thought i'd mention it, even though it had nothing to do with your post, only to point out that QPR are plastic pitch wankers

If there's a shitter midfielder in the Premiership than Mark Noble, I've yet to see him.

And that's going some given some of our performances this season.
You've obviously not been watching Premier League football for very long then.

Noble had a very poor game yesterday, but this season he's been one of our consistently better players. Works hard, wins tackles, lays the ball off to faster more able players with minimal fuss. Limited going forwards and his set pieces can often be mixed at best, but nowhere near "shittest" midfielder currently playing in the Premier League.

QPR have probably got half a dozen worse all by themselves.

I've watched more Premier League football than you and your brethren, given that you've spent most of the 25 years I've been going down doing a passable impression of a southern Birmingham City.

QPR are not a football club so much as an improvised explosive device, fashioned out of overpaid shit footballers.

Marvellous, I will use that.

Bowery really wasn't that bad, was he? We also won with him in the team so regardless, Lambert got it right yesterday.

Technically he was taken off at 0-0, you could argue we might not have won with him still on the pitch as all he seemed to do attacking wise was lose possession or miscontrol the ball.
Having said that he played his part defensively in the 0-0 while he was on the pitch.

i went to a match at Loftus road what seems like a 100 years ago now, when they had just had there plastic pitch put down,
i'm sure we were the first team to play on it, i remember it bounced around badly that day, i'm sure we lost and i think Venables was there manager, but cant be 100% on all that without googleing it which i cant be arsed to do

anyway just thought i'd mention it, even though it had nothing to do with your post, only to point out that QPR are plastic pitch wankers

I was at that one too, beginning of 1983-4 season.

We lost 2-1 but were practically not in it as we couldn't cope with the pitch. I remember being in that crappy little away end close to the front and you could see the marks on the pitch where the ball bounced.

Terry Weir gave me a lift back to Great Barr after the coaches dropped us off, and that was about the only highlight of the day.
