I think that a museum was due to be incorporated into the eventual development of the North Stand. Whenever that may be.

Like many other things, a museum would be a great idea but I can't see the numbers turning up to make it work.

Would a museum incorporated into the new North Stand really need a high number of visitors on a daily basis to keep it ticking over?  It could be included in the stadium tour. I can't see it being such a big deal money wise.

It needs permanent staff and heating/lighting/security costs, plus the cost of acquiring and caring for exhibits. It's not cheap.

And Man City are getting the national football museum, aren't they?

Actually, that might be the City of Manchester in general.

It's going to a gallery in Manchester, birthplace and spiritual home of football.

We could put it in Trinity Road Upper.Loads of space and it's unused.
