And we're off...

Thanks Dave.
We will beat this lot.
I can only imagine the volume of crap you have had to deal with, lately, about this match.
Unai has it sorted, as so many times before. Have a great evening and UTV!

Last paragraph says it all, thanks Dave.

Good read, and exactly where I am with it. The Holy Land has been fought over since God was a boy, but on Friday if things go badly it will all be the fault of Aston Villa and WMP.
-
Well said.

Done.
-
Excellent summary.
-
Perfect final paragraph.

Last paragraph says it all, thanks Dave.
This.

4 separate threads on a single match. Not saying they're not justified, but this game - or rather the hullabalou around it - has overshadowed pretty much everything else. It's been a main topic conversation on here, it's been all the press has been covering ... not the game, but the politics around it. It's all become a bit tedious.
Anyway, give this mob a proper hiding and move on.

Roll on Friday.

Not since our relegation season have I approached a game with less enthusiasm. It would be nice to absolutely hammer them but I just want it out of the way and to move on to Bournemouth on Sunday.
-
The last paragraph is bang on. It needs to be on a banner strung across the Holte tomorrow.
-
Spot on Dave.

Spot on Dave.
Thanks Daz.

Well said Dave.
The final paragraph says it all really.
Every club didn't want this fixture because they knew what they would be dealing with. We're the unlucky ones who got it.
A no win situation judged by uncompromising, one sided political hypocrites.
Just get the game of football played and fucking move on from an issue that will never be resolved.

With you on this one DW

It's not exactly lack of enthusiasm because in a bizarre way I'm looking forward to how it goes. I just wish it was another club. Any other club.

Good one Dave.
'Community Leaders' that's a generous description nowadays.
-
A well written piece and the last sentence, 100% correct. Fingers crossed it's just the football were talking about at 11pm

A final comment/observation.

Looks like West Mids' finest were right to ban them?

One last go at blaming the cops for their own racist ineptitude.
