-
Bailey and Diaby, double trouble!
-
Attacking line-up again. Let's get an early one and hammer them.
-
Like it. 442 I assume.
-
Alright, got it, he's mental, love it.
-
Burnley: Trafford; Vitinho, O'Shea, Beyer, Taylor; Odobert, Berge, Brownhill, Gudmundsson; Foster, Amdouni
Subs: Muric, Rodriguez, Roberts, Redmond, A. Ramsey, Tresor, Bruun Larsen, Delcroix, Obafemi
-
Very attacking , Cash injured I assume.
-
Meh, Lenglet.
Oh well, smash them, Villa!
-
Cash must be injured.
-
Not many options on the bench.
-
That might be the weakest bench we've had for a good while. Let's hope the first XI get the job done.
-
is that Luiz and McGinn in the middle then ?
-
Not many options on the bench.
The proctologist is there to stick it to 'em if required.
-
Cash?
-
I'll be following this on H&V as I have to attend a 9-year-olds birthday party. I expect plenty of scorchios.
-
Bit worried about Odobert against Konsa. Either Leon or Moussa will need to help him
-
Cash must be injured.
I think we miss him.
Konsa is no right back, and would much rather have him in the centre.
New RB needed in January.
-
Not many options on the bench.
Yes for the first time this season that is looking light
-
Yeah, would have liked Cash available today.
-
We are surely the club worst affected with injuries yet you wouldn't think it from the 'pundits'. By my reckoning the following players have all had injuries of varying degrees and each one is an important player and some absolutely crucial to how we play
Mings
Buendia
Moreno
Remsey
Digne
Torres

Yeah, good luck with that.

And Traore. But no, we're not the worst-effected. Probably not even top five.
-
That team should be enough to beat Burnley!!
-
This will either be a big win along the lines of 5-0 or a complete disaster.
-
A very open looking team. Hope they don't take Burnley lightly. Stuart Attwell as ref too doesn't bode well.
-
6.1 to us
Or 3.1 to them
-
Win please.
-
is that Luiz and McGinn in the middle then ?
Looks like it. As long they are in their more orthodox positions, not church related!, with Luiz RCM and McGinn LCM it should be ok v Burnley. McGinn at RCM reminded me of my efforts with chopsticks.
It's a strange selection in truth. Thought Zaniolo might have been worth a go ahead of one of Diaby and Bailey for a change.
-
We will attack from the off and keep them penned in. I reckon an early goal to help with the nerves and a welcome 3-0 win.
-
0-0 unlikely with that team
-
Let's hope the gung-ho approach works this time and Birthday Boy has his shooting boots on.
3-0 Villa
-
Cash?
Injured I expect. Hurt his shoulder against Sheff U.
-
Who is our anchorman/water carrier ?
-

Reckon Diaby might be in a similar position to Zaniolo earlier in the season, i.e. prove it or get hooked.
-
Cash?
Not good enough. Upgrade required.
-
Who is our anchorman/water carrier ?
PWS usually.
-
Hopefully JJ will find his form in this one, I see Aaron is on the bench.
-
PWS has the scorchio ready to paste
-
Ollie Watkins birthday hattrick would be rather nice.
-
It takes a couple of seconds to type, it's hardly War and Peace.
-
Cash?
Injured I expect. Hurt his shoulder against Sheff U.
I'll check.
-
PWS has the scorchio ready to paste
I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing lots of them today.
-
I actually wanted to see Zaniolo start . been disapointed with JJ and Diably lately but its their chance to put in a good performance.
I reckon Cash would have missed the game against Manure If not suspended as he has a shoulder injury.
-
Cash?
Injured I expect. Hurt his shoulder against Sheff U.
I'll check.
Out with illness according to this fella

-
That Doughty lad is in good form for Luton. Can he play RB, I wonder?
-
C’mon Villa! Lift the mood around here with a resounding win and a bring to a close an outstanding 2023.
-
Attacking The Holte first half, let's hope it brings some early goals.
-
Come on Villa!
-
Could do with Ollie scoring a couple on his birthday.
-
8-0 takes us top. Let's do that.
(Any win will do...)
-
Cash?
Injured I expect. Hurt his shoulder against Sheff U.
If he's not back soon I imagine we'll all Cry, Cry, Cry.
-
Diaby goes close, decent start.
-
Deano's on co-comms on 5 Live.
-
Atmosphere is flat. Tsk!
-
Burnley are pressing surprisingly high.
-
Who's the chav in the baseball cap?

No Kamara makes sense
-
Our passing seems off at the moment.

Cash. Check. Geddit?
-
Our passing is just a bit off at the moment.
-
Atmosphere is flat. Tsk!
We need you back there, it was rocking for Arsenal.
-
Unlucky Ollie
-
First mandatory missed chance by Ollie
-
Good effort Ollie, decent save.
-
Well done Diaby
-
First mandatory missed chance by Ollie
Bit harsh, it’s a snapshot that forces a decent stop.
-
Man City winning. We are down to 4th.
-
Diaby does really well there. Picked a great pass too.
-
Great work Diaby
-
First mandatory missed chance by Ollie
Bit harsh, it’s a snapshot that forces a decent stop.
Just mean that he needs 4 before a goal, 3 to go
-
Daft yellow for Konsa
-
First mandatory missed chance by Ollie
Poor fucker gets flak for not having a 100% conversion rate AND it's his birthday. Have heart, Edvard!
-
Daft yellow for Konsa
Daft referee.
-
Shit yellow to give, that's poor ref.
-
Konsa you twat!
-
Daft yellow for Konsa
Daft referee.
2 Dafts = Yellow Card for us
-
Daft yellow for Konsa
Daft referee.
Wasn't Attwell on VAR against Sheff Utd?
-
Ref's a dick, but what a stupid way to get a yellow.
-
It’s an idiotic yellow from Ezri - even if it’s a wrong call it’s a corner.
-
That was a corner
-
We’ve got the beating of these down our left
-
It’s an idiotic yellow from Ezri - even if it’s a wrong call it’s a corner.
It was blatantly wrong, wasn’t even close. You can’t be that incompetent and punish someone for correctly pointing it out. It’s sport.
-
Picking up a yellow over a corner decision less than 20 mins in is saft. Regardless of whether it was a corner or not. Don't give the ref an option to give one.
-
Diaby defending well today so far
-
Diaby working very hard.
-

Yep.
-
Good chance here for a shot from the free kick
-
Taylor you clogger!
-
Sort it out!
-
Let off there
-
starting to look a bit ragged here.
-
SCOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
BAILEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
-
Yeeeeeees
-
Jacob needs to bring his A game back
-
GTFI!!!! Come on!
-
VAR yet?
-
Leon Bailey, back in business!
-
Most talented player we have.
-
Watkins did well there to chase the ball and play it into danger. Good composed finish from Bailey.
-
Good running by Ollie
-
Yessss, lovely Leon Bailey! 8)
-
Leon! x
-
1-1
Fucking hell
-
Let’s get some more.
-
Oh.
-
Shit defending
-
Yes!
-
Fuck..horrible defence
-
Shite!
-
Soft defending
-
That will do.
-
Fuck sake
-
Unacceptable from JJ.. totally unacceptable.
-
Apparently, Burnley have lost all ten games when they've gone behind...
-
FFS. >:(
-
FFS
-
Unacceptable. How much do these fuckers trouser each week?
-
Apparently, Burnley have lost all ten games when they've gone behind...
Aston Villa to stop that record then.
-
Schoolboy defending.
-
Unacceptable from JJ.. totally unacceptable.
What did he do?
-
Unacceptable. How much do these fuckers trouser each week?
Too much to even think about
-
Wow.
-
Unacceptable. How much do these fuckers trouser each week?
And we're off
-
Dismal defending. Ramsey has been Champioship standard since his injury.
-
Unacceptable from JJ.. totally unacceptable.
What did he do?
Completely lost his man on the ball back across, jogging behind him.
-
Why are we crap again?
-
JJ has been really bloody poor since injury.
-
Unai will be able to analyse that goal to be even more demanding and to improve in our way.
-
Ramsey is terrible right now.
-
We’re just gifting sides goals at the moment.
-
I think it might have been the second injury that did him, but he is definitely weakening us badly when he plays now.
-
Burnley are the better side at the moment. We’re an absolute shambles.
-
Jacob Ramsey seems to have been to the same rehab facility as Ross Barkley.
-
The fact that we haven’t been able to put out our established back 4 isn’t helping at all. And that goes for our midfield too that don’t have the same connection as the combined unit that propelled us to the top 3 in the league. Everything feels a little off.
-
Fucking hell, Burnley score an offside goal.
Come on Villa!
-
I can't believe Watkins and Diaby both left that!
-
This is fucking dismal.
-
I can't believe Watkins and Diaby both left that!
Watkins was off
-

Feels like the first few games of the season where we hadn't quite clicked yet.
-
Well assuming VAR upholds it
-
We are really disorganised and lethargic- get a fucking grip Villa.
-
Offside but SORT IT OUT Unai!
-
I can't believe Watkins and Diaby both left that!
Watkins was off
Ah yeah, fair enough
-
Looks just off. Tight as a ducks arse
-
And it is offside.
-
we have suffered terribly with injuries and suspensions since we beat Brentford.
-
Sort it out Villa. Bloody rubbish.
-
We don’t have the same belief. On the pitch and in the stands. We look fragile.
-
That's close
-
Half inch off
-
We don’t have the same belief. On the pitch and in the stands. We look fragile.
Seeing the old 'oh welcome Aston Villa' type doom posting on here for the first time in what feels like a very long time
-
Closer than it first looked, Lenglet did well.
-
And it is offside.
That is what I posted above. Do keep up!
-
Unai will be able to analyse that goal to be even more demanding and to improve in our way.
We must indeed improve in our way if we are to impose our idea in the moment.
-
Less than 4 points from the last three fixtures would be very disappointing tbh.
-
What was that ball? FFS!
-
We don’t have the same belief. On the pitch and in the stands. We look fragile.

“Hello darkness my old friend”
-
I take it it's windy
-
SCOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
DIABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
-
SCOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This is very fucking welcome. Get in.
-
Yay!
-
Watkins involved again
-
This doesn't feel good.
-
Gooooooooool!
-
And here we go, offside check
-
This doesn't feel good.
Oh well 🫣
-
Looks onside
-
VAR confirms the goal
-
Looks fine.
-
And we're up to second!
-
Gotta be plusside
-
Given.
-
Is Diaby limping a little bit?
That dirty fucker, Taylor.
-
Hate VAR
-
Come on villa, believe, we are in the top 3.
-
7 mins added time
-
Thank fuck for that, no more drama now please.
-
Come on villa, believe, we are in the top 3.
We're 2nd
-
I didn't even celebrate that
Hate modern football
Took the fun out
-
You just can’t enjoy a goal anymore thanks to VAR doing its utmost to find a minor issue.
-
You just can’t enjoy a goal anymore thanks to VAR doing its utmost to find a minor issue.
They just actively look for a reason to disallow goals.
I don’t have a problem with the technology or the original intention, it is the human factor which is wrong.
-
Watkins delivering the balls he would love to receive!

Same.

Our goals

2-0 https://twitter.com/starsballsvs/status/1741122779292835895
-
3 minutes to hang on.
-
Great bit of work from Ollie. Now maintain it this time Villa.
-

It should be the other way around and they’ve lost sight of that. Find a really egregious error and everyone is ultimately fine with it. I like what Colin Wanker said the other day. Set a time limit and you have to be able to make a decision. And the on field decision overrules everything. So if it was a goal, then if it warrants review you have 30 seconds to find a glaring error. There will always be post match scrutiny and chatter. But I’d rather it for goals being given than the tedious blunt instrument VAR has become.

Our goals
1-0 https://twitter.com/starsballsvs/status/1741119385090073023
2-0 https://twitter.com/starsballsvs/status/1741122779292835895
Rather weird non celebration when Diaby scored. Maybe part of his lack of form is that he hasn't integrated into the dressing room (yet)?
-
Corner Burnley.
-
And half time. Hopefully second half is a bit more straight forward.
-
HT.

Rather weird non celebration when Diaby scored. Maybe part of his lack of form is that he hasn't integrated into the dressing room (yet)?
I figured it was the same reason most of us didn't celebrate.
-
We should be using the right more often, Leon carrying the ball into the final third with ease.
I’m sick of VAR and the delayed offsides flag. Take some personal responsibility and make the call, tossers.
-
Weird first half, we were the better team for most of it but after our first we just switched off for 10minutes.
Very good from Watkins for both goals, the defence looks slightly off without Torres.
-
Re the non-celebration on the second goal. From up here in the crow's nest the consensus was that Watkins was offside. I've not seen it back. Was it close? Didn't look it at all.
-
We're way too open, but having your best defensive midfielder and centre half out will do that.
Bailey deserved a bit of luck after the Stockley Park prats ruled his goal (and most likely winner) out against Sheff U.
-
With the naked eye the goal was onside. With the first lines the goal was offside. It was still 30 more seconds that elapsed to the goal being allowed. It’s just not required to take that long to find fault. They should be doing everything possible to allow goals.
-
Had a tenner on Bailey first scorer at 7/1 so that’s nice.
-
Oh, and 52 minute halves with no injury or major stoppages of note.
Ridiculous.
Get that shit in the bin along with VAR.
-
Re the non-celebration on the second goal. From up here in the crow's nest the consensus was that Watkins was offside. I've not seen it back. Was it close? Didn't look it at all.
A little tight, but played on by two men. Definitely not up for debate.
-
Re the non-celebration on the second goal. From up here in the crow's nest the consensus was that Watkins was offside. I've not seen it back. Was it close? Didn't look it at all.
Was clearly onside from the telly pictures afterwards
-
That is half the problem with it they’re looking for every reason to disallow goals rather than just looking for blatant non goals.
-
Aston Villa have scored 19 first-half goals in 20 games, only Manchester City (20) have scored more in the Premier League this season.
Meanwhile, Burnley have conceded 19 first-half goals in 20 games, more than any other team in the Premier League this season.
-
We're way too open, but having your best defensive midfielder and centre half out will do that.
Bailey deserved a bit of luck after the Stockley Park prats ruled his goal (and most likely winner) out against Sheff U.
Yep it looks very easy to get at us. Ramsey is a problem he’s so lightweight at the moment, he’s just getting brushed off the ball.
Bailey, Diaby, and Ollie all good though. We need at least another goal though.
-
Second goal looked miles offside from where I'm sat, in line with Watkins. I didn't get up from my seat.
-
Definitely the right decision to cancel the North Stand rebuild, Villa Park without that seething cauldron of noise doesn’t bear thinking about.
-
I’m at the game and that’s the least I’ve ever celebrated a goal. Been watching since 1972😡
Var is rubbish
-

haha

Same here, it’s killed the atmosphere.
Anyway we need another to calm things down, they will feel they can get something from this.
-

Feels like the first few games of the season where we hadn't quite clicked yet.
Yep.
Which makes Torontos point all the stronger.
When we played poorly at the start of the season, the defence was getting used to each other in Emerys system.
Same thing again with Cash, Torres, Mings, Digne & Kamara out, with Konsa pushed over to RB.
Thats pretty much the whole defence in new positions or new to the system with their new partner.
It's no wonder there is confusion & a similarity to the beginning of the season.
But Spurs have a load of players missing, apparently...
-
That is half the problem with it they’re looking for every reason to disallow goals rather than just looking for blatant non goals.
Yep although they probably need to think about the intent of the offside rule. It has to be an absolute thing, but is it actually based on the attacker having an advantage. Because the Burnley non-goal was purely a technical offside, he didn’t gain any advantage.
-
Second goal looked miles offside from where I'm sat, in line with Watkins. I didn't get up from my seat.
Both full backs were playing him on, was tight but Watkins was looking along the line at the left back and arced his run perfectly.
-
Had a tenner on Bailey first scorer at 7/1 so that’s nice.
Did you see that Baggies fan on Soccer Six who had Sheff Utd to beat us, 0-1 and Archer to score? £25 bet and stood to win thousands. His tears where very bitter.
-

Var is rubbish
Same here, it’s killed the atmosphere.
Anyway we need another to calm things down, they will feel they can get something from this.
Yeah definitely - without Kamara, Torres, and to an extent Digne we look like we can be good at. Kamara is massive because he allows Doug and SJM to use their energy in a better way. Without him we look laboured.
-
Not great but the goal before HT should settle us down a bit. Watkins did very well for both goals
-
That is half the problem with it they’re looking for every reason to disallow goals rather than just looking for blatant non goals.
I kind of feel for them, if they miss something against one of the wankstain clubs there's a 45 minute analysis of it in the studio after the game.
-
Honestly we've looked pretty bad! But winning, hopefully we can build on it this time.
-
Watching MatchDay Live. Apparently Man City are now 2 points back of Liverpool, and level on points with Arsenal as it stands.
-
Scored twice and had a lot of possession, but just been a bit of a struggle. Don't know what is wrong with Moreno, just doesn't look interested and I thought he was the same when came on at Old Trafford.
-

Var is rubbish
Same here, it’s killed the atmosphere.
Anyway we need another to calm things down, they will feel they can get something from this.
After the other night we need another 2😉
-
All in all we did dominate first half except ten minutes after our first, Watkins , Bailey and Diaby good for the goals and in general good attacking play against a team that are not parking the bus so much as Sheff U did. Need to take control of the game now - that is the challenge after last game.
-
Had a tenner on Bailey first scorer at 7/1 so that’s nice.
Had him first and 2-1 win scorecast. Hoping for a boring goalless second half!!
-
Watching MatchDay Live. Apparently Man City are now 2 points back of Liverpool, and level on points with Arsenal as it stands.
Intending to reply to your other point but can't find it about the creeping nerves this week. I think the vibe would be different if Heck's statement had been 'full steam ahead with the rebuild next June'. I think the off-field stuff has sort of been badly times for the fans.
-
At the ground at least sing FUCK VAR! Or something. Perhaps the players could sing it too.
-
Someone start a 'Chris Heck, what a wanker' chant, that'll show him.
-
And that.
-
At the ground at least sing FUCK VAR! Or something. Perhaps the players could sing it too.
Can't help you out with this - stuck at home with Covid
-
Honestly we've looked pretty bad! But winning, hopefully we can build on it this time.
We haven’t been great. But it’s just a combo of players missing and a dip in confidence. These players are having to also adjust to new media scrutiny at the right end of the table. A lot to deal with. We will come through it because we have a manager who has seen and done it. We’ve not had that in a long time. The structure will see us through this period of uncertainty.
-
Totally confused. Did their goals stand in the end?
(https://i.ibb.co/MGMpYhw/IMG-0111.jpg) (https://ibb.co/MGMpYhw)
-
Ramsay might want to try entering the pitch area *without* hopping; it might help him play better.
-
Ramsay might want to try entering the pitch area *without* hopping; it might help him play better.
We've all got our foibles
-
Totally confused. Did their goals stand in the end?
One did. It's 2-1,
They also had one disallowed.
-

I don’t think most people care to be honest. The internet and interacting with social media still is a fraction of the fan base. Growing but still not the majority. Most just want the side to win. Off the field stuff is largely irrelevant.
-
Get up.
-
Get up.
Get on up
-
Longlet looks beaten in that chase.
-
Had a tenner on Bailey first scorer at 7/1 so that’s nice.
Had him first and 2-1 win scorecast. Hoping for a boring goalless second half!!
A Villa win and I’ve turned £50 into £101.
-
They should give the responsibility and control back to the linesman, can I say that .
That Diaby goal ,if the linesman doesn't flag give it but if a linesman flags and the is no offside give the goal.
I'd be happy with that .
-
Some astonishingly poor play from JJ and Moreno there.
-
Think we'll deffo need another.
-
Longlet looks beaten in that chase.
He did alright. JJ’s terrible play upfield left us open.
-
One ball and they are in every time, Lenglet is really struggling at the back.
-
Some astonishingly poor play from JJ and Moreno there.
That double act was just brilliant to end last season.
-
Dean Smith in attendance
-
Lenglet is too slow for the Prem.
-
Midfield is doing absolutely nothing here.
-
We are winning but look very fragile.
-
Some astonishingly poor play from JJ and Moreno there.
That double act was just brilliant to end last season.
It was - but it’s not at the moment.
-
Burnley player sent off
-
Lenglet is too slow for the Prem.
He isn’t, it’s the midfield just being bypassed that is leaving us exposed.
-
Bye bye
-

This is a really good observation. It was good vibes tempered with puzzling (or alarming, or suspicious, or...) news from the club. And even then, it wasn’t news, it was something that kind of oozed out of a general conversation.
-
Wow.
-
Lenglet is too slow for the Prem.
Some were writing off Torres too
-
Get up.
Get on up
Get up
-
Wow.
?
-
At least this ref has a pair to call it as opposed to the Bournemouth game.
-
What a prat for them, what's he thinking!
DO NOT bollocks this up Villa.
-
Lovely corner routine
-
correct decision, Luiz was away from him and in on the box, as clear a yellow as you get.
-
Ramsey on for them. Hopefully we'll bring ours on soon.
/baddumtish
-
If only the ref at Bournemouth had the balls to pull a second yellow for the same infraction.
-
Lovely move from the corner.
-
Ramsey coming on. Somebody read their copy of the Cameron Archer script.
-
Blimey Carlos
-
Right fucking win this.
-
Pau coming on for Lenglet
-
Carlos the muppet
-
Carlos you fucking liability!
-
Noticed during that corner routine that the 7 on Lenglet’s kit is coming off. The end of Castore partnership cannot come quickly enough.
-
What a let off from Carlos!
-
How did we not make it 3
-
Carlos frightens the life out of me.
-
Soft red card, that.
Would be livid if that was us.
-
And now JJ should have scored
-
How on earth?
-
Get the fucking third Villa.
-
Soft red card, that.
Would be livid if that was us.
Not really, both yellows were clear (and he had another challenge that could've been given one as well), which of the 2 yellows do oyu think was harsh?
-
JJ, what on earth..?!
-
Fucking hell Ramsey!
-
Biting our nails over Burnley. Jeez, that first week of December feels like months ago.
-
Ramsey misses a sitter
-
We are playing some decent stuff now. The third will come. These fuckers are running out of steam.
-
Get him off
That was rubbish JJ
-
Think someone has slipped Carlos a few roofies over Christmas.
Genuine space cadet behaviour again.
-
Biting our nails over Burnley. Jeez, that first week of December feels like months ago.
Eh?
-
There's a reason lots of people think Trafford will be first choice for England before long, he's keeping them in this on his own.
-
There's a reason lots of people think Trafford will be first choice for England before long, he's keeping them in this on his own.
He’s very good and only getting better. He will be back at Man City eventually.
-
He looks about 12.
-
Get him off
That was rubbish JJ
To give him a bit of sympathy it did skip up slightly so it wasn't a tap in.
-
Torres getting his slide-rule™ out.
-
Get him off
That was rubbish JJ
Despite the miss I think he's growing into the game.
-
Diaby close. We are being so wasteful.
-
There's a reason lots of people think Trafford will be first choice for England before long, he's keeping them in this on his own.
Good experience for a young keeper to go to a team at the lower end of the table, if they have the right mental toughness. Think Martinez even mentioned recently that Emery advised him to do that when going on loan from Arsenal.
-
Fuck right now I’ll take any kind of win. Just to ease the nerves. Can we fast forward time?
-
How are we missing all these chances?
-
The chances we miss make this look like points lost soon
-
Emery raiding Oasis market again for coats, it seems.
-
It’s going to finish 2-2 isn’t it.
-
FFS another Diaby miss
-
2-2
Fucking bonkers
-
That’s got to be a hold on Watkins in the box
-
Just fuck sake Villa
-
FFS
-
I know he has scored but how much does Diaby trouser™ each week?
-
You cannot make this fucking shit up
-
Fuck off!
-
FUCK OFF
-
Diaby be brilliant if he could finish
-
FFS
-
This is onside.
-
VAR check, come on VAR I love you
-
There you go - we have completely lost the plot. Get a fucking third Villa this is pathetic.
-
Fuck off
-

He needs a steady path upwards from Burnley, though. I don't particularly rate him, but Pickford didn't hang around Sunderland when a bigger team came calling. The likes of Butland and Forster were too happy to hang around the middle and atrophied.
-
Hiw many sitters do we miss
-
VAR is shit, always said it is
-
Jaysus, Mary, Joseph and the wee donkey.
-
The chances we miss make this look like points lost soon
This felt so obvious to happen
-
Martinez not doing his job either.
-
Rubbish
-
Fucking pathetic
-
Zaniolo winner then.
-
Miles on, fucking shite
-
Analyse that play Unai!
-
What the fucks happen to our defence
-
Game should have been out of sight by now.
-
Everyone trying to put it top bins instead of getting clean contact. Fucking morons
-
Enough chances to win the next 3 games and instead it's 2-2 v ten men.
-
This really is painful. Can we have another international break or something?
-
Big "Stoke under O'Neill" vibes.
-
Fuck me. Going into the Sheff Utd game the hope was to get at least 7 points from the next three. Bottom two in the league at Villa Park and a shit Man U side who just got stuffed at home to Bournemouth. We might end up with 1 or 2 out of 9 at this rate. That would be absolutely fucking shit.
-
We are a bit of a mess all of a sudden - this is 10 men of Burnley.
-
Shit finishing is the issue... extremely shit
-
What a shit goal to concede, you can't concede from long-ball filth like that.
-
Big "Stoke under O'Neill" vibes.
It all feels like we flew too close to the sun and got our wings burnt.
-
I don't like that Foster at all.
-
Emery’s in game management has been awful last three games.
-
Just not Duran please
-
We havent learnt since OT.
-
You cannot concede this goal against 10 men, it's very very poor

-
What the fucks happen to our defence
Torres got injured and Kamara got suspended for 3 games. It is that simple.
-
The jitters are everywhere now. It won’t surprise me at all now to see them win.
-
Kick the ball up the pitch and goal what is going on with our defence.
-
Just gutting after the chances we have wasted this half.
-
We are so slow it’s like watching glacier racing.
-

That’s not an excuse at home against 10-man Burnley.
-
this is a big 15 we need to get a win here - we less than 4 points from the 3 games would be criminal
-
Emi very poor for their goal
-
So many good chances going way over the bar
-
If the goal was 2 metres up, we would be OK
-
As it stands we've scored 5 goals in 3 games and won 0 of them.
-
Shite McGinn. How much etc.?
-
As it stands we've scored 5 goals in 3 games and won 0 of them.
I remember when we used to score 5 goals in 1 game.
-
If the goal was 2 metres up, we would be OK
We’d find a way to smack it over that too today
-
I truly do not understand how footballers can make it to this level without being able to use both feet comfortably.
-
What's mcginn trying to do ffs
-
Figure it the fuck out!
-
Fear not, Duran is coming on.
-
Diaby off JD on
-
Fear not, Duran is coming on.
Ffs😡
-
FFS Watkins
-
Jhon needs to earn some coin
-
Why would you take Diaby off for him?
-
Another of those "could play all night" type games now. What has happened to our composure these days?
-
Ramsey should have come off not Diaby.
-
Ramsey should have come off not Diaby.
Agreed.
-
"Of course, if at the start of the season you had said we'd be 4th by New Year's Eve, everybody would have said you were nuts"®
-
Ramsey should have come off not Diaby.
didn't realise he was still on
-
Out play is not set up to play against teams that park the bus (even with ten men).
-
I'm getting that John Gregory 98/99 feeling.
-
This is bad. Burnley are crap too.
-
Out play is not set up to play against teams that park the bus (even with ten men).
Going to be about 15 more games like it between now and May, so something needs to change.
-
6th/7th at best.
-

Burnley aren’t even parking the bus. The pressed high all match until the red.
-
Villa penalty
-
Agent Ramsey to the rescue, hopefully
-
Ramsey booked for being a throbber.
-
6th/7th at best.
This is also OK
-
Is it a pen or not?
-
Do not f**king miss
-
JJ you twat!
-
r
Ramsey booked for being a throbber.
Yeh I don’t get what he’s fucking going in about. Get the fuck out the way and let’s get this over with.
-
SCORRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Luizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Ramsey booked for being a throbber.
Of course, they have all learnt from the Kamara fiasco. FFS!
-
Idiots making the tension more
-
JJ you twat!
Bet he loves you too
-
SCORRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Luizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Thank fook for that.
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
-
Geez, off the bar.
Twice.
-
Always preferred young Ramsey to that Archer lad.
-
Fear not, Duran is coming on.
Ffs😡
Thank Paul McGrath for ‘em, though!
-
The penalty hesitancy exemplifies our last few games. There was so little confidence relative to previous Doug penalties. Thank fuck that went in.
-
Thank fuck for that.
-
9 mins added time
-
Even that went almost over
-
I'm not celebrating in case VAR don't like Doug's run-up or neck tattoo or something.
-
Fuck me. Did his best to miss that one!
-
That goes out to the wankers who I saw leaving the Trinity on 82 mins
-
Just get the points now. Any which way but loose.
-
The penalty

-
9 mins added time
I hate this shit, why not just stop the clock
-

He put it in off the crossbar, if that isn’t confidence.. I don’t know what is!
-
Phew - now fucking win.
-
Just sit on the ball now. Don't care how basic it is, just keep possession.
-
Bailey off, Donk on
-
Singing when winning eh? Tsk!
-
Still don't fancy us in stoppage time against 10 man Burnley! 😩
Just fucking win please.
-
How the fuck are there nine minutes extra?
-
9mins was warranted for the Celtic match, but this one?
-
Dendoncker coming on for Bailey.
-
Duran loses ball and complains.. stop that you clown, and press and win it back
-
Good defending JD
-
Traffic being beaten in the Trinity.
-
Sometimes any old win will do. We need to get this over the line and start to believe again.
-
Torres' passing has been all over the place since he came on.
-

Windy ay it
-
I suggest running up the park with the ball and scoring another.
-
No swagger at all this game
-
Sometimes any old win will do. We need to get this over the line and start to believe again.
100% this - lots of games and injuries - the points are all that matter today
-
Get up
-

Agreed

Get up
Get on up

That Foster is very good. I would sign him.
-
Get up

Get up

That Foster is very good. I would sign him.
Him and Taylor have been decent for them.
-
FT. And relax.
-
FT. And relax.
Cheers
-
That Foster is very good. I would sign him.
Not for me, Archer is a far better player and we can have him back for a lot less than they'd want for Foster.
-
42... safe
-
Ollie should have scored.
-
Ollie should have scored.
He should have had two, both straight at the keeper, at least he provided two great assists. Diaby should have scored 3 or 4. Poor in attack and wobbly in defence with a midfield that never looked fully in control. Right now I'm just delighted with a win and three points.
