Fuck sake

-
Martinez I understand, but why is Cash not getting back in the side?
-
So their outfield World Cup winner is fine to play then.
-
What’s the situation with Cash? Injured? A hangover from the World Cup or does Emery just prefer Young?
-
Unchanged from Boxing day. AND OMG OLSEN STILL IN...we may as well give up and come home as according to some on here there is no point!
-
That’s rather annoying.
-
Emi Martinez you are pissing me off.
-
So their outfield World Cup winner is fine to play then.
Yes but Romero did fuck all in Qatar. Emi had to hold that Golden Glove trophy for over an hour. That's quite tiring.
-
What’s the situation with Cash? Injured? A hangover from the World Cup or does Emery just prefer Young?
Bank holidays, all the ATM's are empty.
-
Thought Emi wouldn’t start having only returned Thursday. Should start next Wednesday.
Disappointed that Cash isn’t starting.
I fancy us for at least a point today! UTV!
-
Buendia due a good game (I hope)
-
That is a very poor decision re: the goalkeeper.
I know Emery is the boss, but this looks like an effort to prove it.

2+2 =5.
-
So their outfield World Cup winner is fine to play then.
As is their World Cup finalist goalkeeper
-
What a load of bollocks.
-
What about Dendoncker, I like him
-
Looking like I going to visit my aunt earlier than I thought
-
I see 2023 has started with the usual air of optimism!
Come on Villa boys, let’s do them!
-
Positives : Sanson's back open the bench, erm that's it. Anyway, let's hope for the best.
-
Great. Emery's version of the Mings factor.
-
That is a very poor decision re: the goalkeeper.

Seemed pretty clear to me in Unai’s pre match interview why Olsen should start. He basically said Olsen now knows what is expected of a goalkeeper in his team whereas Emi has not been trained into the new role yet

The world cup winning keeper is not qualified to play for Emery?
-
If Martinez is fit to travel he should be starting, No question.
-
Matty Cash, player swap with Atletico Madrid?
-
Martinez to come off the bench and score the winner.
-

That’s not what I said. You know how Emery likes detailed patterns of play and Olsen has been party to those sessions whereas Martinez will not have a clue on things like our plan to beat a press - yet….
-
Martinez to come off the bench and score the winner.
Or save a penalty.

I'd put a tenner on Olsen giving the ball away trying to beat the press and them scoring from it
-
Matty Cash, player swap with Atletico Madrid?
I like Matty but i'm not sure we'd get an entire football club for him.
-
As much as I would have liked him to play I think it is right that his first game is a home game. He would have been booed and goaded by the spurs fans and any mistake could crush his confidence. Let him come out to a heroes welcome at VP
-

Emi's distribution is equally as shit as Olsens

I can’t disagree with that! I was just trying to put reason on why he has selected him 😂
-
What about Dendoncker, I like him
I like you but I would not want you playing at Spurs today.
-
If Olsen concedes his usual 3+ goals then there's no planet where it's the right decision.
-
Lets see
Olsen does not inspire and I can not see that Martinez would let us down
-
I confidently predict that calls for Olsen to be hooked during the game will be posted in this thread and very early in the game.
-
Not feeling confident today, going 2 nil Spurs, if we do manage to scrape a win, we still won't move up the table.
-
Fucking idiot Emery.
-
I would’ve started Ings today. Not sure what he’s done wrong lately.
-

Crush Martinez’s confidence? Are you having a laugh?
-
What a load of bollocks.
It certainly is. Emi has previously flown back from South America arriving two days before a game and played.
-

To be fair Hookey has a point. Martinez would be distraction to our routine win today

I appreciate you just relayed your understanding of what you heard. The implications of that is what worries me.
-
On paper this looks like the weakest Spurs team for a good few years. Just can’t see us keeping them out without a competent goalkeeper.
-
Emery seems to already have his favourites, like the previous two managers did. Why can't these managers have favourites who are actually good players.
That goalkeeper behind that defence. Sigh.
Oh well, I'll save myself two hours and not bother watching.
But Up The Villa, and let's smash them
-
Fucking idiot Emery.
A manager with a CV to compare with the best in the world but the moaners are out for him 5 games into his villa career.
-
My hope and guess is both Emi and Cash will be starting in two days versus Wolves. This is just a theory, but given he’s new to the club and he got a good look at all of the other players for an extended period while we had three players at the WC, he might just be easing those absent players back in. The performance versus Liverpool wasn’t bad but we clearly lacked quality in key areas. I don’t think Emery is so stupid to think that Olsen or Young are better than Martinez or Cash long term.
-
Why is always at Villa that we make it a crises from a drama? Seems to me that there’s more to this than meets the eye. No doubt we will see in the coming days but, I for one, am not impressed.
-

It does me too! Somebody is seeing more in Olsen than we are
-
It really looked like Olsen had got to grips with our ‘style of play’ against Liverpool. FFS. Why are managers such divs at times?
-
Fucking idiot Emery.
A manager with a CV to compare with the best in the world but the moaners are out for him 5 games into his villa career.
Hardly. He has made a strange decision though.
-
On paper this looks like the weakest Spurs team for a good few years. Just can’t see us keeping them out without a competent goalkeeper.
But they still have Son and Kane, more than enough to beat our back 4
-
What about Dendoncker, I like him
I like you but I would not want you playing at Spurs today.
What if Astnor was to offer to play in goal?
-
It’s very strange but quite simple - under no circumstances (attitude problems, lack of training time, character clash etc etc), under NO circumstances, should a fit Olsen be chosen over a fit Martinez. There is no excuse for it I can imagine. And we will concede a hatful.
-
Watching Olsen in the warm up is already worrying me..
-
It's a revolutionary 0-4-5-1 line-up.
-
Our bench is stronger then theirs, disappointed that Martinez hasn’t started but you’ve just got to trust Unai.
-
Our ability to keep the ball out of the net is a collective exercise. It helps if the bloke in net is one of the very best around. But it will also be critical for the forwards and midfield to keep it away from our back 4, and for our back 4 not to capitulate every time the Spurs forwards attack. That’s the bit I’m worried about as much as the keeper.
-
Inevitably there will be a lot of media speculation about Emi's omission. Already started in the studio.
-
I Olson had played a blinder against Lpool, I would say fair enough.
But ffs.
-
More surprised that Cash isn’t back in place of Young, who I thought really showed his age against Liverpool.
Young against Son fills me with fear, especially with butterfingers in goal.
Hoping they ram my prediction down my throat, but Spurs would have been there for the taking with Martinez and Cash in that 11… Opportunity missed, similar to the league cup tie against Man Utd
-
Buendia needs a good game today, was disappointed in him against Liverpool.
And put the chances away villa , don't want another Spurs game when we had chance after chance and still got beat 4 0.
Good to see sanson on bench and countinho who looked sharp in training to e fair .
-
Olsen. Have we won a game with him in goal yet?
-
Before the game, it’s the right decision not to play Martinez. There’s no way he’s mentally ready to play.
Cash had a hamstring before he went to the WC & he ran himself into the ground whilst there. He might still have some issues. I think Young will handle Son better than Cash would.
Of course if we lose & Olsen or Young are shite, it’s the wrong decision.
-
We beat Chelsea in a friendly.
-
Martin Laursen scored the winner last time we played Spurs on New Years Day, how we could do with him today.
-
Has Olsen won a game for Sweden.
-
Leon bailey has good stats .
-
Olsen has played just over three and a half games for us. We lost 3-2, 4-0, 4-2 and 3-1 in them. Even in the game he didn't play for the first half an hour he still conceded 4.
-
You know when sometimes you drop something and you do that thing where, when you try to catch it, it sort of bounces off your hands and arms before hitting the deck?
That's what I think of when I see us attempt to play it out from the keeper and across the back four.
Terrifying.
-

At least he's consistent.
-
If Martinez is fit enough for the bench he’s fit enough to play. It is absolutely baffling that Olsen is starting ahead of him.
-
Very soft challenge my arse. Elbow in the back ...
-
Three shit passes by emin
-
Buendia sloppy, what's got into him?
-
I’m disappointed in the selection today, not necessarily the keeper, but Watkins, Bailey, Buendia and Young should have been under pressure for their places. Let’s hope I’m proved wrong.
-
Buendia sloppy, what's got into him?
He’s usually quite sloppy to be fair.
-
Shank!
-
Watkins ffs.
-
No football brain
-
Terrible from Buendia. Crap, as usual from Watkins but a decent start. I just hope that Spurs don't score on their first meaningful attack. No doubts, Son scores today!
-
Well at least Ollie stayed onside...
-
Poor by Watkins, all he had to do was to toe the ball on to Buendia.
-
Usual shite finish from Watkins.
-
Watkins… *shakes head*
-
Never a danger there.
-
Usual shite finish from Watkins.
Don't worry, six or seven more of those and he'll find the net.
-
Kamara to the rescue...
-
60,000 people with a hangover, by the sound of it.
-
God spurs are shit today
-
God spurs are shit today
This is what they do in the first half.
-
Bailey and Buendia look rather inept at the moment.
-
We have started well, despite the poor play by Bailey and Buendia.
-
Looks like we've gone 5 at the back already.
-
Anyone else struggling to stay awake here?
-
Young injured
-
Bailey and Buendia look rather inept at the moment.
They need to get a grip as the first half when Spurs are bad. Later in the game they are very good.
-
Maybe cash getsca game
-
I wonder if 442 is the chosen formation and the players have been told to make the positions their own? Telling us that McGinn, Buendia are the be replaced this window? another forward in for either Bailey or Watkins?
-
Anyone else struggling to stay awake here?
It's a bit different to the Liverpool match!
-
This Spurs team are there for the taking today but we don't seem to realise it.
Everytime we go forward it is so slow, we just allow them to get back into position.
A very low-key game all round so far.
-
This game is so slow. We need a lot more pace in our squad
-
Dougie looked ok.
-
Spurs beginning to get on top, partly because we don't keep the ball particularly well. Working hard defensively.
-
The speed at which we switch the ball across the pitch is glacial.
-
Anyone else struggling to stay awake here?
Yep.
-
Have we come for a 0-0?
-
Why no dead-donkey on thr bench?
-
No urgency at all to our attacking play. We don't look at all interested in trying to score a goal.
-
Have we come for a 0-0?
I doubt it but I'd take it.
-
Nothing up front and the ball keeps coming back
-
Cheap give away from Bailey. Got to cut out the poor choices.
-
If they score first they'll sit deep and do us on the counter.
If we do, then their fans will get frustrated and we might nick it.
-
Have we come for a 0-0?
I doubt it but I'd take it.
I was half facetious.Considering switching to Singin In The Rain
-
The way UE wants us to play, it works for us at time in terms of keeping the ball, but you can definitely see how much better at it we would be with more technically proficient players.
I know that sounds like stating the obvious, mind.
Basically, we could improve a lot quicker with the addition of some more technically capable players.
-
Looks like we've gone to a back 6.
-
Cinderella is on bbc1. Lily James and all that.
-
The back 6 holding firm at the moment
-
3 Spurs players on yellow cards.
-
All 3 Spurs CBs booked
-
Liking the ref so far.Hoping he doesn't even up in the second half.
-
I’m loving this. Get the home crowd on their backs, then go more attacking in the second half
-
I hope they don’t go down to 10 men
-
All 3 bookings are 100% correct, all 3 have seen spurs players surround the ref to complain.
-
Ash saves us
-
Fuck me that was close
-
Well played Ashley.
-
Ash saves us
Not for the first time this season!
-
Wish Buendia would step up.
-
Ash been good , that's why emery started him
-
Decent from Olsen
-
We're offering nothing going forward so Spurs are slowly taking control.
Watkins, Buendia and Bailey have got to get involved or we are going to lose this game.
-
Harsh against Young. Come on Villa.
-
Hand ball my arse.
-
Watkins need to stop jogging a round
-
Our movement up front is wank.
-
Liquid football.
-
Dropping to six across the back when out of possession is fine, but transitioning to attack in a team without much pace is a struggle.
-
HT. We were mostly in control that half but offered very little going forward. Buendia, Bailey and Watkins creating very little. Spurs have been pretty wank.
-
We are very, very passive.
-
Liquid football.
Yes, liquid shit.
-
Liquid football.
Mercurial.
-
Well at least we’re not losing, but bloody hell that was a dog of a half.
-
God, I thought Wolves were turgid yesterday
-
Right scoreline at half time. We have worked hard defensively but with better choices and movement going forward, we can do a lot better. Buendia is a passenger, Watkins needs better movement and Bailey stop with the flicks. Olsen has done ok. Luiz and Kamara looks solid enough.
-
Watkins passes to buendia to make it 1 0 , then it's the perfect performance.
Can't wait to buy a top finisher with a brain.
Great defending.
Olsen's been ok .
Ash best player .
Kamara looks good with Dougie .
Just to slow attacking
-
HT. We were mostly in control that half but offered very little going forward. Buendia, Bailey and Watkins creating very little. Spurs have been pretty wank.
We’ve also been pretty wank to be fair.
-
Great advert for the game, that.
Both sets of players look miffed even being there.
-
Our ambition in this game is to draw. There’s no sign of anything else.
-
We are very, very passive.
This is how Emery has set us up. Problem is, if we go behind, it's hard just to change the mindset.
Spurs were crap but will improve second half.
-
Dropping to six across the back when out of possession is fine, but transitioning to attack in a team without much pace is a struggle.
I hope this is why we seem keen on Sarr again. Buendia, on the left (or generally) offering nothing,
-
At least we look organized, I find it comforting
-
Best league in the world etc, etc.
-
We are well organise but do not offer a threat up front.
I doubt that we can cover as much ground defensively in the 2nd half.
-
At least we look organized, I find it comforting
I feel like all 22 players have been tranquilised.
-
Worst game I've seen for ages. I watched 3 races during that first half.
-
At least we look organized, I find it comforting
Careful Lee that kind of comment doesn’t work on here
-
Dropping to six across the back when out of possession is fine, but transitioning to attack in a team without much pace is a struggle.
True and I worry about that dropping to a back 6, Spurs showed towards the end of the half it isn’t going to take much to break the line.
-
A 6-4-0 formation is showing Spurs more respect than they deserve.
Let's hope we open up in the second half.
-
We don’t seem to have a clue going forwards. Will Bailey ever take a full back on? Watkins will need at least another 4 clear cut chances to possibly take one of them. Definitely looks like we’ve come for a point. Only trouble is, if Spurs score, it’s very difficult then to get out of our defensive mindset.
-

True and I worry about that dropping to a back 6, Spurs showed towards the end of the half it isn’t going to take much to break the line.
Absolutely this. Solid shape, looks reasonably well drilled but not sure we have the personnel to spring the counter.
-
Spurs will score here. They’ve enough individual quality to engineer chances.
-
We seem to lack the pace on the break that we used to have, and I'm not sure who from the bench is going to improve things
-
Their back 3 all on yellows, we need to get at them more 2nd half.
-
We have to become harder to beat and more disciplined out of possession. We are doing that. And given we are still often quite wasteful in possession it helps being compact when we lose the ball. But clearly we have a long way to go to get ourselves to be flowing in possession and better on and off the ball. That won’t happen with this set of players. Only a few survive and by August I expect 4 or 5 players to start in place of the current line up (excluding Emi and Cash).
-
You just have to hope that Bailey has one of his moments.
-
Second half will be interesting to see where we are as Conti always goes for it after sussing out the opposition in the first half. If we capitulate I won’t be impressed but if Unai has equally sussed out Spudz this could be season defining
-
Worst game I've seen for ages. I watched 3 races during that first half.
I must admit I find myself wondering a little more regularly exactly why do the rest of the world find our game so attractive, and worth forking out billions of your hard-earned for.
-
I think it was suggested when Emery came in that he would get us organised - we're seeing that today. The next challenge is to get far better in transition: more pace in releasing the frontrunners and better support for them.
-
We don’t seem to have a clue going forwards. Will Bailey ever take a full back on? Watkins will need at least another 4 clear cut chances to possibly take one of them. Definitely looks like we’ve come for a point.
Cam Archer must be really, really shit in training.
-
Better organisation at the back. Shit game though. Half of these players won’t be here in a year if Emery still is.
-
Anyway, the important stuff; anybody else think Redknapp has finally started a slow morph into his dad?
-
No changes
-
We haven't really taken advantage of Spurs usual slow start. A lot of other teams are usually 1 or 2 up by now.
Still it's early days under Emery so I'm happy to be patient.
-
Six at the back, it’s the future?
-
This is going to be our shit half.
-
SCORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
Get in!!!!
-
Looks like we've had our half time valium again
-
Get in you fucker!!!
-
Goool!
-
Tats why you don't play your world cup goalie
-
Looks like we've had our half time valium again
Oooops!
-
Scooorchiiioooooooo!!
-
GETTTT INNNNN!!!!!!
-
Scorenado!
-
Well done Ollie and Emi
-
Well done all around but particularly Watkins
-
Get in! That’s a good finish from Emi.
-
Lloris shite!
-
Well done all around but particularly Watkins
Yep really good work.
-
Get some.
-
Well played Watkins, great play.
-
Watkins did well there, fair play.
-
Watkins did well there, fair play.
This.
-
Shit keeper lol
-
I've always maintained you've got to have a go at the coconut shy to win a fluffy toy
-
You gotta be able to seize the fluffs when they happen...
-
Well played Watkins fir the goal
-
Ooh lovely! Great play from Watkins.
Nice to benefit from shite goalkeeping for once.
-
Fair play, Olsen has done well so far.
-
You can put 11 behind the all now please
-
Taken Olsen!
-
Great keeping!
-
First shot on target by Doug, great follow up play by Ollie and composed finish from Buendia. Let’s not sit back.
-
If the rest of the game could now be as dull and uneventful as the first half, that would be smashing.
-
Emi needed that.
Hopefully the start of an upturn in form for him.
-
I absolutely shamed myself last night. I don't deserve this.
-
McGinn looks like he's stepped out of the Hibees casual mob
-
The irony of us shitting ourselves over our keeper yet their WC finalist keeper had a nightmare with giving up that rebound.
-
Mings booked
-
McGinn's new haircut is tidier, but the lad still looks like Iain Dowie after being run over by the ugly bus.
-
This is ridiculous.
Emery knows what he is doing.
He comes in and we look a completely different side.
On our way to two wins in three against the Sky 6.
8)
-
Spurs chance skied over the bar
-
Kane is such a fake
-
Mcginn was poor then.
Good position, loses it and put Tottenham on the break
-
Another Spurs yellow
-
Mings booked
Ref's too happy with his cards
-
Sky’s love of spurs is fucking shit!!!
-
Kane is such a fake
yeah, Mings didn't touch him fir the yellow.
-
Mings booked
Because Kane kicked his leg.
-
spurs getting a lot of soft free kicks now.
-
Kane is such a “fake”.
You spelled “cheating wanker” incorrectly…
-
No way that was a yellow for Mings
-
Kamara on a free or Bissouma for 50 million. Hahaha
-
Well played Ash
-
Ashley young , rolling back the years
-
Buendia marking a big centre half at corners again.
-
That's what let's Ollie down .
-
McGinn is poor.
-
McGinn is poor.
Nah, he's loaded
-
Watkins FFS
-
Cash on for Bailey
-
Cash for Bailey.
-
Cash for Bailey? Are we settling for this?
-
Ollie works hard and does a lot for the team but he could never be accused of being a finisher.
-
Come on Matty
-
Just glad that it was Watkins to Buendia rather than the other way around otherwise it would still be 0-0
-
Konsa booked for time wasting
-
We need upgrades tor McGinn and Ollie.
-
I'm actually feeling confident in Olsen
-
Cash for Bailey.
Are you looking for the transfer thread?
-
This commentator jizzes his pants when the ball goes near Kane
-
Shocking mings pass
-
Offside son!
-
Buendia taking the piss
-
Get Sanson and Archer on.
-
Tottenham gone right off
Come on villa
-
McGinn has been as poor as Kamara has been excellent
-
McGinn is shit.
-
SCORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCHIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
McGinn is shit.
Apart from that
-
OMG!!!
-
What a fucking goal
-
Fucking sublime that...
-
Wow!
-
Gooooooooooool!
-
What a goal!…
-
Fucking hell
Loveweww
-
What a great goal that is
-
Class goal. Luiz has been brilliant today.
-

Great goal Villa
-
Luiz goal
https://twitter.com/goalsreplayg/status/1609573246113878017
-
Great pass from McGinn!
-
So that's what they've been doing for the last six weeks...
-
Fuckin yesssssssssss!
-
nothing soft to be given away now Villa.
-
That’s a brilliant goal - I’ve criticised him but that’s class from McGinn and Dougie.
-
Superb goal, great build up and top drawer finish.
-
McGinn is shit.
Hahaha!
-
Was going to post get dendonker on for mcginn.tighten up
What do I know
Luis and kamara . Class
-
McGinn is shit.

Spurs are very good at coming back into games so we have to stay compact and disciplined
-
SJM injured, hamstring
-
Emi might struggle to get back into this side. Result was never in doubt.😂
-
hahahahaha aha 8)
COME ON 8)
I'm smirking right now 8)
-
So far we've got this spot on.
-
McGinn hammy. Romero a lucky boy there.
-
I’ve just been watching that goal on repeat.
What a stunning move. Beautiful and a delightful finish. Excellent ball and choice of pass from McGinn
Love to see that.
-
Great pass from McGinn and what a first touch by Luiz.
Sexeh!
-
Coutinho for McGinn ??
-
Coutinho coming on for SJM.
-
Come on Phil
-
Was going to post get dendonker on for mcginn.tighten up
What do I know
Luis and kamara . Class
You'd have a job; Dendonker not in the squad!
-
Coutinho for McGinn ??
We're living in a parallel Villa Wonderland.
-
McGinn is shit.

It’s all about timing.

Good for you, pal!
I'm gorging myself on humble pie right now. Tastes very nice
-
Luiz down now
-
I bet there's around 15 minutes added on here!!
-
Dirty foulers, Spurz.
Still remember fucking up a 4-1 lead here under MON, so not counting any chickens.
-
Triple sub coming up for us
-
Fuck I hope Luiz is shithousing here.
-
Bednarak and Chambers coming on? Blimey.
-
Emi might struggle to get back into this side. Result was never in doubt.😂
Footy called this a while ago, too 😮
-
Buendia off, Chambers on.
-
hahahahaha aha 8)

I think things might actually be on the up now 8)
A goal from Coutinho would be perfect.
-
How is the contact from Hojbjerg on Luiz there different to the contact that led to the Mings booking? Both were late to get a tackle in and clipped the attacker, Kane gets a free kick and a booking for the defender, Luiz gets nothing.
-
This is going to be very backs to the wall. Konsa off.
-
Konsa off, with knock, Bedrock on.
Ings also on.
-
Chambers at dcm. Good.
-
Brilliant ings.
-
2-0 up and he makes a triple change, what is going on?
-

Exactly - and the commentators ignored it to - just stretched a muscle indeed
-
Loved seeing Unai screaming at Mings what he wants to happen now

Could be 10 mins of added time. Wouldn’t be surprised
-
Is it greedy that I would love us to score a third?
-
That wanker should be off
-
Is it greedy that I would love us to score a third?
Not really as I want us to score a 5th
-
Did Dougie’s injury look bad?
-
I'd be quite happy just to watch us see this one out safely, thanks.
-
Danny you had more time there...
-
Nice work by Phil there.
-
Did Dougie’s injury look bad?
I think it was knee to knee so probably just a dead leg, hopefully.
-
Watkins delayed a shot there
Magnificent villa today
-
what a prick that Romero is.
-
Olsen excellent
-
Did Dougie’s injury look bad?
Caught by the late tackle on the ankle - hard to say how bad
-
Countinho tracking back
-
what a prick that Romero is.
I think you’ll find it’s what a dirty prick that Romero is 😉
-
Did Dougie’s injury look bad?
Caught by the late tackle on the ankle - hard to say how bad
They were looking at his knee not his ankle.
-
Lovely little cameo from Coutinho there to get us forward on the break. He was doing things like that when he first joined.
-
7 mins added time
-
This has been Olsen's best game so far. Perhaps he was just rusty
-
7 mins extra
-

My mistake - I thought he caught his ankle
-
Come on Coots get a goal.
-
Kamara is absolute class.
-

Ha! Absofuckinglutely, mate. Dirty bastard!
-
I would love nothing more than than Coutinho to bury one.
-
Made me smile
Adam: A lot of Spurs fans are anxious if Conte will sign a new contract! I am worried he will!!
-
Booby had to shoot
-
Can we get Martinez on to waste the last 7 minutes.
-

My mistake - I thought he caught his ankle
I think you're right, but he was holding his knee and that's what the physio was working on, which is why I think it might just be a knee-on-knee one, hopefully.
He's been the best pplayer on the pitch by miles today so I'd be gutted if it keeps him out.
-
Watkins has been magnificent today.
He has worked so hard and his hold up play has been superb
-
Could have had three here
-
Fannying about in front of the box. Tottenham's though.
-
This has been Olsen's best game so far. Perhaps he was just rusty
Go back to the beginning of this thread. Unai was a wanker for picking him 😁
-
Really loving us being 2 up but I’ve seen this movie before
-
How good is Kamara? Man of the match for me. Ollie a close second.
Son is a massively annoying twat

Good management by Emery. Martinez can't just stroll back into the team after going on the piss for two weeks.
-

Son is a massively annoying twat
they're 2nd and 3rd for me, Luiz is first by a very long way. Either way we've dominated their midfield.
-
Most inform side of 2023.
-
Olsen's taking the piss!
-
Coutinho has looked sharp.

Agree. Has to be Luiz.

FT
-
Coutinho has looked sharp.
Agreed, he's had an excellent little cameo here.
-
Phil looking very sharp
-
Never in doubt.
-
Great start to the year.
-
So we know their next 6 fixtures, what about ours?
-
Very fucking satisfactory that.
-
Kamara, what a fucking player
-
Luiz and Kamara were fantastic.
-
Excellent result. Resolute in defence and managed it well at the end with a bit of shithousery.
-
Watkins has been magnificent today.
He has worked so hard and his hold up play has been superb
This is why he has to stay.
I don’t think he’ll ever be prolific, but if he can knock in 12 goals and help out a 20 goal striker then he will become priceless.
His work ethic is beyond question, he leaves it all on the pitch.
