Another year; another third round when the Villa don't get to play at Gigg Lane. I look forward to the day when it happens and I can be home 20 minutes after the final whistle.

Shortest team name of an FA Cup winner.
Only FA Cup winning team who has a name which is a homophone of a small fruit.
Only team to win it without conceding a goal all tournament?
Only team to win it without conceding a goal all tournament?
Correct !
Preston won the cup without conceding a goal and the league without losing a match. In the same season.
Apart from Preston, in 1889.
A decent Premier League team please. Be interesting to see how we compare in our current form.
So who are the only team to win it and never played in it since?
Anyone but Blackburn or ManUre...life's too short for repeats. We'd probably beat either, mind.
It'll be Brentford.
It'll be Brentford.
Funny thing is when Dean Smith left Walsall for Brentford in November 2015 they then drew Brentford in the 3rd round the following January so you could be right.

Would be interesting to get Man. United in their current state. Mourinho's record is woeful at Villa Park (I'm hoping against hope he's still in charge there when we get back up to premier league).
Wouldn't be against us getting a premier league team to see where we're at.
When have we ever not taken it seriously?

Yes. So let that be a lesson to you all. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Abraham Lincoln said that.

Bogey ground innit? We’ve won once at Craven Cottage since 1970? Over 20 games in nearly 50 years.
Chico and Pat McMahon were the scorers in 1970

Perceived slight? I heard their crowd singing shit on the villa. How else can I perceive that? Also I know someone who was there when they played Blackpool and got a very hostile response to his jacket with a villa badge on it. Dion Dublin was also abused because of his villa connection.I hope Solihull beat Bpool to play ArsenalSorry but Solihull Moors are dead to me after the other night. I love it when people who know nothing about non-league football get on a moral high horse for some perceived slight.

You can perceive it any way you want. Such as a handful of people there for a one-off match doing what they do best and having no affinity with Moors whatsoever. If you want to get upset by that, feel free.
No. As far as I am aware it's not part of the ST deal. It's up to the club if they wish to offer a free ticket to ST holders.
It would be nice to have little run in the cup 8) but if we get knocked out we can concentrate on the league...You know I never thought of it that way🤔

I had a look last night and it did state that the season ticket included the first home cup game.

Happy with that. A little run in the FA Cup would be nice.

A little run of knocking 6 other sides out would do me.

Upper Trinity open for a Cup game. That's been a while.
The Swans make the trip to Villa Park for the third-round clash on Saturday, January 5 (3pm). And season ticket holders and Pack of 10 purchasers can receive an early Christmas present courtesy of the club.
The Swans are offering season ticket holders and Pack of 10 purchasers the opportunity to secure their match ticket for FREE as reward for their support this season.
The club has agreed to pay for up to 2,500 tickets for the tie, with Jack Army members also offered half-price tickets for the all-Championship clash.
Tickets are available to season ticket holders first (one per person). They will then be offered to Jack Army members (one per person) from Wednesday, December 19 at half-price with adults paying £5, concessions (over 65, students) £3.75 and children (U18) £2.50.
Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale from Friday, December 28, priced at £10 for adults, £7.50 concessions (over 65, students) and £5 for under-18s.
A limited number of tickets will be held back for Jack Army members to purchase in their window on a first-come-first-served basis.
Season ticket holders and Jack Army members can only receive the free or half-price offer during their specific windows of sale.
Season ticket holders ordering their ticket online will have to make sure their Swans Club Account is linked correctly to their season ticket account number. Season ticket holders ordering their ticket over the phone or at the ticket office will need to have their season card to hand to make the process quicker.
On Saturday, December 15, the ticket office will be prioritising matchday enquiries from 1pm.
There will be no booking fees charged for any ticket.

can anyone tell me if this game included on my season ticket?Yes, it will be loaded onto your card.
There may be 35000 tickets "sold" but my guess is that the number of people in the ground on the day will be much less. I very much doubt more than half of our season ticket holders will actually attend - its not the greatest attraction.
Much as we will never know I doubt there will be more than about 28000 in the ground which will still be a great attendance
