Try going on the Fulham website and you can buy one directly from there in the neutral section - right next to our lot. Best way of guaranteeing a ticket.

And as a result has been to watch Fulham more times than the Villa this season.

Get out of it

Looking forward to Craven Cottage though this year. Missed last year's game - on holiday at the time.

Pat McMahon will be gracing us with his presence this time as well

What's the quickest way to get to Fulham if I pub it in Marlyebone/Euston way until about 2?

Tube from Edgeware Road seems to go direct to Putney Bridge and I believe it's a 20 minute walk from there?

Or is there a quicker bus route? (although this usually dosen't apply in London!

You'd be cutting it fine to be at Euston until two. Tube to Putney Bridge then you can get a bus (think it's the 24) from the bridge to close to the ground. The walk along the river is worth it, though. Be sure to bring money for quality unofficial literature.

And a load of cash for a beer or two. Bloody expensive for a small bottle of Heineken if i remember rightly. 5 years ago me and a mate paid a fiver for a half pint bottle.
Expensive twunts.

All the best pubs are on Fulham High Street. That's Fulham High Street folks.

There is nothing for you, south of the river.

Once again, Fulham High Street for all your 'rammed with Villa' public houses.

The Temperance on the High Street was fine, if fucking expensive. I wasn't that sold on the pubs on the other side of the river, then again England were playing rugby on the TV so the rugger bugger wanker ratio was high.

I'm sure someone will have a quicker way but from Euston take the Northern Line south to Waterloo and get the overground to Wimbledon, from there you can get the District line 4 stops to Putney Bridge.

or...

Euston to Leicester Square to Earls Court then 4 stops down to Putney Bridge

I'll be going from St Pancras (which is only 5 minutes walk/tube from Euston).  I'll be getting the Picadilly line to Earl's Court then changing to the District line to Putney Bridge.  I've done this route a couple of times and it's fairly easy.  38 minutes according to the planner thing on the TFL site.

Alternatively, Richard, coming from our neck of the woods you could change at Clapham Jct and then get the train to Putney (1 stop, 5 mins), then a bus to Putney Bridge tube stn

From Euston, 10 minute walk to Warren St then 14 bus straight to Putney Bridge.
Far less mither than the Tube.

Ha, Frank, knew you would suggest that, thank you very much! I quite like doing the into London and out on the tube though for some reason. I shall park myself in the pub opposite the ground there on the other side of the river if you are planning on visiting it as part of your pre-match regime!!!

Seems like a big Sussex Villains attendance on Saturday then. Surely Putney overground then walk its not that far!!
I will have two little ones in tow but will find a pub with an outside area as long as the weathers ok. What's the one you refer to called - Duke's head?

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've been in the Eight Bells several times before Fulham games. Last time I went was a couple of seasons ago. Iarrived there just after it had all kicked off with the coppers, which was nice because the pub was empty and I got served atraight away. Quite enjoy it in there, if I'm honest.

We went somewhere a bit posher last time though, didn't we Pat?
