Some good news (http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~2306922,00.html)
New 4 year contract.
-
As a midfielder or a full back? :-X
-
Great news, he will be a top player.
-
Good.
-
Great news, I've seen enough of him to think he's gonna be an excellent player for us
-
Good stuff.
Look forward to seeing him in the centre, in tandem with Makoun.
-
great... another young player whos confidence and reputation we can ruin by playing him the wrong positions...
right back next!

Unfair.
Delph is doing a temporary job at left back and he seems level headed enough to not let it spoil his confidence.
-
Very Good News - potentially great news if he starts to forfill the huge potentially he clearly has

yea, im sure nathan delfouneso thinks the same thing as people slate him for not being great on the right wing...
i am sick to death of playing players out of position, and while delphs is through necessity, and my comment was more tongue in cheek than serious (youre not really to know that on the interweb mind), i really wish we didnt have managers who think that "oh, i know, if we wedge in those squares into circle holes, they will fit tighter"...
but this gripe is not for this thread...
good news about delphs contract, not that it means much these days, but good news nonetheless...

I think the score doesn't really reflect his performance last night, if he can play like that in the LB position the imagine what he can do in the middle of the park!

Some good news.
get rid of Petrov & play him with Makoun
-
Delph is a quality footballer, uses the ball well and is a good competitor and is the right age. Makoun. Delph and Bannan could be great for us in the middle, with Albrighton Downing and Bent up top when Ashley goes next season.
-
Good news. I like Fabian.
-
He was one of the few bright spots last night. I hope that's not damning with faint praise.

I agree totally, starting against Wolves if possible.
-
Suprised he's signed , he's not actually going to win any trophies.
-
Chuffed with that.
-
Great news.
-
I'm pleased with that going to be one hell of a player.
-
Great news. I really rate Delph and like others have said I would put him in the middle over Petrov as soon as we have four fit defenders!

He'll leave when he becomes too good for us anyway, so he can win trophies that way!

Indeed. He's played the whole sum of 1.5 games out of position.

Great news, well done Villa
-
Here's to out new left back! ;)

First job for Delph. Trying to justify Wednesday night debacle

Great prospect who has got it all, his mazy runs are awesome and he cant half tackle. As soon as the left back is back, stick him in the middle and watch him shine
