Plain claret body with blue sleeves please, no fancy stripes or chevrons and get rid of those stupid hooped socks. Replica of 1975 kit will do.

I really wish it was ADIDAS making the kits

I agree. I like Adidas kits.

Black socks, claret and blue trim if the shirt is claret body and blue sleeves. Looks best imo.

Best kit in recent years ^

Also I don't see why the shirt shouldn't be changed from time to time. Some of our best kits were not claret body/blue sleeves.

When you have a kit with one or two colours but with no defined style then you can change it up a bit. However us and Arsenal as another example have very specific styles and it wouldn't be right in my opinion to mess with it. Claret body, blue sleeves at home. Away and third kits can be tinkered with.

Arsenal change theirs all the time and have had some nice ones that weren't traditional Arsenal. And:

Both of these were #Dench

They're both terrible. Claret shirts, blue sleeves. That's what we wear. Arsenal only changed their kit as it was an anniversary year or last season at Highbury or something like that.

Supplementary question ... how long till that bloke from VillaTalk who only ever comes here to post his mock ups of new kits turns up and posts his first mock ups of possible new kits?

I'm going with June 1st.

ill go with november

2017

You think he'll be gone to November?

They have done it more than once.

I'm trying.

Honestly I'm really, really trying to give one solitary godforsaken, desiccated fuck about next years shirt.

Nope, I can't find a solitary one to give.

It really doesn't matter.

Does it?

Edit: Oh go on then. What about Shroud of Turin replicas?

Well you say that but this season is the first time in 25-30 years that my dad and I have not bought each other a shirt for our September birthdays. I am extremely superstitious, as is he, and I felt uncomfortable without one early doors. I have to hold my hand up and admit that the problems at Villa this season are actually down to me and not the curious course of action that has masqueraded as a season. Sorry. I'll get one next season.
