if he's got the desire and work-rate, then it should be fine

Oh bugger 😂

I’m be a negative…….again

It’s all about us being able to unlock his potential and get him motivated beyond his pay packet. He has so much to work for .. personal pride, getting back into the Argentina team, having Martinez there keeping him straight should help and ultimately a lot of years left in the game….

His shooting is woeful I'm afraid. Probably his biggest weakness.

We play Chelsea on match day 16 so hopefully by then he would have made more than 10 appearances and we will perm him and he can rip em to bits.

“perm him”? Is this to get him thinking he’s Kevin Keegan? I like your thinking.

I hear people keep mentioning his pace, but he's never stood out as one of the quicker players in the league whenever I've seen him play.  Not slow, but pace hasn't been the thing that stood out (as it sometimes does with quick players).

Is "quick" just how he's described in the media now, or have people actually seen it in action to know he's quick?  Is he Malen-quick, i.e. rapid over the first five yards, or Diaby-quick, in that when he opens his legs and is up to speed, no one is catching him?

A quick “google” and it appears so.

Yes, Alejandro Garnacho is very fast, regularly clocking top speeds above 35 km/h and ranking among the quickest wingers in the Premier League.

"regularly" doing a lot of lifting there, as last season Neto was Chelsea's fastest recorded player at 35.1 km/h.  This is kind of what I mean, I can see lots of mentions of him being fast, but very little evidence of it actually being true.

Ok, but he looked very fast in the games against us and that one season a few years ago, probably around when he was 19, he looked like some player, tenacious and very quick.

I’d say, he’s certainly much, much faster than Sancho anyway.
