I'm just waiting for the ones who shout at and threaten the people who take down the England flags un-ironically taking down any flags with that message on them.

Does Stones come back in for Konsa for knock outs?

You are Phil McNulty and I claim my £10.

But seriously you definitely have a gripe against Konsa don't you.

Not his biggest fan but thought he was desperately poor last night. It's ok to say a Villa player for England was poor. Guehi seems back as first choice now.

After watching that last night my first thoughts were if Southgate had produced that he would have been castigated.
Southgate did produce that...
My point exactly  so how far have we come with the new manager??
Its two games in, impossible to compare to southgates achievements yet

He really wasnt poor last night. Its just a bit odd to pick him out. Then again Onana wasnt out there

You were blaming him for playing the Ghana player onside for the Pickford kerfuffle when James was the cause of that being 5 yards the wrong side. And yes, his box challenge had the potential of being a penalty and might have been called by other refs, but it wasn't and without the challenge Ghana probably would have had a goal anyway. Both Guehi and Konsa were caught out by pace for both chances, yet apparently Konsa was poor and Guehi is "first choice". The only people rubbishing Konsa in both matches are you and McNulty, his is because of he loves Citeh players, yours just seems to be down to just not liking him at all.

Even more odd when you take into account his challenge when Ghana were through on goal. Instead of people being on his case they should be praising him for getting England a point.

Good point and one I made at work today, maybe was a missed pen, but was probably a goal unless Konsa got his body in the way

..if you watch the passage of play Guehi gives up on it due to his lack of pace, Konsa at least got there and got his 'challenge' in. Konsa looked better alongside Stones. Stones fitness, if he played with Guehi, would leave us vulnerable on the counter.
The anti Konsa stuff in the media is baffling.  None of the midfielders came looking for the ball when we were passing across the back endlessly yet it's the defence who keep getting the grief.

The media aren't going to criticise a Man City player when there Villa one available.

I don’t see how Konsa “ had a bad game” yes I think it was a pen but I am not sure what the refs decision was. The problem wasn’t the defence, it was a lack of cutting edge from Madueke Rice Bellingham and Steptoe.

I can remember ian St John taking Allan Evans apart for no obvious reason when they beat New Zealand in 82!

And Miller and Hansen did so much better against the Soviet Union.
