Commentator tried to say that maybe it was to give him one last run out for us. Hopefully that's it, rather than an injury

Fingers crossed!! Didn't see him limping beforehand.

He always has been. Bogarde isn’t a progressive player that will take responsibility of the ball. I’d like to see us move on Bogarde, Bailey, Guessand and Barkley in the next few weeks.

It’s like an 1870s version football where no-one has got to grips with controlling the ball yet as they’re used to being allowed to pick it up.

Wouldn't disagree about Bailey. Barkley can still contribute with the right support.
Not sure if Bogarde has any further improvement he can make - doesn't seem to ever progress the ball.

Guessand - it's all in his name - your guess is as good as mine.

Bloody Ross Barkley with a quite shit few minutes. Booking and nearly gives up a goal with a stupid pass out of the back

It is a friendly though, it doesn’t really matter.

Why do we see us have three opponents next to our player yet give him the ball rather than looking for a player who obviously is free?

I know we need squad players for all the games we’re going to have next season, but if SCR is going to be an ongoing issue then I’d much rather we cash our chips in on those 4 players and bring the kids through…I’ve already seen more ability and work rate from the kids that have been given a chance in these 2 games so far than either of those.
