The final has a lot to live up to.

Goals        4        6
Shots       19      19
On Target   9      11
xG            2.8    2.89

Although our penalty added lots to our xG, just a good job France couldn't score from around the penalty spot.

Rogers was shit.

He didn't do a lot. He outmuscled Digne a couple of times near the end, but can't remember him doing much else.

Great goal by Bellingham, but without Watkins it doesn't happen.

Make all games pointless and watch the goals fly in

So in his first World Cup, Tuchel went one position better then Southgate. So the next Euros might be interesting.

It was like Soccer Aid. Thought Jonathan Wilkes was going to come on at one stage.

He only had three places higher that he could possibly have gone to, so fair play to him.

As good as Olise is, his finishing is something to be desired.

Watkins showed why he’s far better than Toney. I thought he played very well. Bellingham is world class and with him we always have a chance to win.

Thought they deserved it.

It was entertaining, England deservedly won their bronze medals, but I suspect that if it had have been a competitive game, France would have won relatively easily.

Better team and better squad. I heard there were some sour faces in the French camp as they wanted a night out on Wednesday after losing to Spain and Deschamps said no, we have the 3rd place game on Saturday. Or as most French people call it, the chocolate medal game.
