Spain certainly didn't impress me. Dominated possession but created very little and only won because of two goalkeeper errors.

That back 4 isn’t all that, Porro, Laporte and the Hair Bear Bunch,  beatable.

And their keeper had two mad moments in the second half, charging out like Neuer on crack.

Can’t see beyond France in that one but I suppose you never know.

I wouldn’t discount either England or Argentina.

Yeah I get that, Argentina, the dark ones, they have a way about them, just when you think they are done up steps the great one and they go to a whole different level, plus, they play with a lot of emotion

Only two results from here on will actually surprise me, that's Switzerland beating Argentina and France/Spain not winning it. England and Argentina is a coin toss for me and Norway have a mean left hook (Haaland).

Only half watching it but I’m sure in one segment Mica Richards said it was an advantage that Guehi trained with Haaland then they came back and following the others he said anybody who said it was an advantage was wrong and he didn’t know why they said it!

England’s Harry Kane thought it a good idea to spend the day golfing with Donald Trump. That is he golfed with a rapist, racist, war criminal. Serial liar, cheat and pedophile. A sexual predator who owes $5M to a woman he assaulted. He’s accumulated immense wealth for himself and family while in public office at the expense of the American people. But yeh Harry go golf with him.

Got 49/50 on my CSCS card test today though, and I never even revised. Anyone got any jobs going?

Celtic Supporters Club Syllabus?

Haha! No, just in case you didn’t know, it qualifies me to enter building sites.

It's a piece of piss but I worked with one lad who was proper intelligent, qualifications everywhere and it took him about 6 attempts to pass.
Is it still multiple choice with 2 out of 4 stupid answers giving you a 50/50 chance?

I wouldn’t say 2 out of 4, not on every one. The pass mark is 45/50, I was a bit worried because I did 3 tests on YouTube the day before and despite always scoring in the forties I only passed once, marking myself, and even that was close. I suppose I must have concentrated harder in the actual test.

I took the CSCS test some years ago as it was a requirement to have a card even as a site visitor. I passed after the 2nd attempt having failed on PPE equipment when working overhead over running water. A situation that I would never be required to. That was the flaw in the test. There’s only one type of test and you need to know every situation in every environment. Whilst most of it was straightforward and common sense these anomalies were what failed people. My card expired a few years ago and it also was no longer a requirement for site visitors to have one. Anyway, that’s all in the past.
