FIFA rigging it to set up a France vs Argentina final, innit? Infantino probably got Trump to put in a call to the CDC.

Trump is against the importing of foreign Rice. America has really great rice, other countries rice is really bad, not good rice at all.

FIFA selling small pieces of World Cup final pitch for $450-$3,000 each... I bet they are the grasping scumbags.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7434855/2026/07/10/fifa-world-cup-final-pitch-collectibles/

"Each of the four tiers is limited to 2,026 pieces, meaning that if they all sell out, they will generate more than $11.2 million in revenue."

I reckon there are more fun ways of spending three thousand dollars on grass.

I'm sure the revenue raised will go to support grassroots football.

I can't believe I am actually surprised at this, but I am reading an article on how in the US parents have to pay for their kids to play football... of course they fucking do.  :-\

No wonder they are shit at it.

"They pay hundreds of dollars annually for their 6-year-old to play recreational soccer; thousands of dollars for their 12-year-old to play competitive “travel soccer”; and in some extreme cases tens of thousands of dollars for their teenager to play for an elite club, perhaps to pursue a professional career or college scholarship."

They literally cannot see past money, can they?

With the state of the pitch currently, would there be anything left of it to sell?

World Cup quiz: Teams to have played the most quarter-finals

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cj3plgedn30o

39/41 and gave up. One answer almost sent me round the bend as I knew for a fact they came third one year, but I looked it up afterwards and there wasn’t a quarter final round.

Got 49/50 on my CSCS card test today though, and I never even revised. Anyone got any jobs going?

Haha! No, just in case you didn’t know, it qualifies me to enter building sites.

Took me ages to get the last Central American team (had no idea they'd even played in a World Cup) and Asian (should have remembered this one, think in 1966).

It's a piece of piss but I worked with one lad who was proper intelligent, qualifications everywhere and it took him about 6 attempts to pass.
Is it still multiple choice with 2 out of 4 stupid answers giving you a 50/50 chance?
