I was thinking when it happened, You’ve played against him so many times, you know exactly what he can do! I thought Odegard was a bit meh too. I did like that young winger they brought on, he looked very decent.

Quite fun that one of Norway, Mexico or England will be in the semi-final.

If only someone could have twisted Haaland's arm being born in Leeds

England could have had Olise and Semenyo, too.

Although you wouldn't want Semenyo based on what he did at the World Cup.

Really glad Brazil are out. Not the Brazil many of us grew up with full of flair and joy. This one is bitter and entitled. So many disagreeable twats amongst them.
Yep, off the top of my head Neymar, Casemiro, Paqueta, Guimares, Gabriel, Vinicius, Cunha and Martinelli are all thoroughly dislike-able.

Brazils knock-out record against European teams since 2002: played seven, lost seven.

I think it must be 6 as there haven't been 7 world cups.

They also lost in the third place play-off in 2014.

Aah!

Agreed and the same goes for Argentina in terms of twats in their side. With the exception of Emi and Messi.

England could have had Olise and Semenyo, too.

Musiala, Lookman, Nmecha, Anthonee Robinson would all have been plausible candidates for the squad too.

And Matty Cash, obviously.

Agree with that dislikable list. Maybe Martinelli isn’t so bad but the rest most definitely are.

McTominay probably a better benchwarmer than Henderson, I reckon. Though he was pish at the World Cup like all Scotland players.

Neymars behaviour after the Pen at the end says everything you need to know  about him, it is all about him !

Norway were more than decent, they played with a lot of discipline but going forward it was just like watching Brazil but a better version.
