How can "Broth" be a flavour enhancer. What flavour is Broth anyway? Surely it is just the water something is cooked in, probably the rest of the ingredients.

I assume that Dried Clam Broth would be clam flavour.

Of course, I didn't realise there wasn't a comma because the brackets threw me. It also didn't help that when I first searched, the search engine through up the Sainsbury's link but had shortened the initial ingredients so just had the flavourings section with "broth, vinegar, natural flavours"
