How was that goal allowed? High boot, which in the Premier League world certainly have been penalised.

There's been a lot of stuff let go in this World Cup that would be penalised in the PL. I prefer the World Cup approach.

I think that poor Qatar sod who got the five game ban was harshly treated.  He was absolutely distraught, and yea it was a poor challenge, but it wasn’t malicious.

Agree that they're allowing more physicality but it's the inconsistency which kills me.

Not liking this German strip right off the bat.

Agreed, it's dreadful.
And the shorts are basically the same colour as the ref's shirt. I thought FIFA were very hot on any colour clash. Unless Adidas have a contract with the DFB for Germany to wear it and they are getting a cut.

probably just as well otherwise we could and probably should have been down to ten men and minus Pickford on Tuesday night. Konsa got lucky as well.
