The ones I have seen are. I personally don't think saying their behaviour is begging is nasty, although it doesnt seem to stop you making "nasty" comments to me. Makes you think.

Considering that in the bad old days, Scotland had as much of a hooligan problem as England, it is to credit to the followers of their national team that they have long since cleaned up their act, embraced the cliches that people around the world identity as being Scottish and genuinely seem to enjoy the moment.  The scarcity of tournament qualifications is probably a large part of this is, but the fact that their presence in both Germany and the States has been received so positively is to their credit.

It probably helps that the reputation of both sets of supporters goes before them
 When Scotland are in town it's party time. When England arrive the disaffected youth of the locale can misbehave knowing who will get the blame. The agenda had already been set in Boston before the first English fans got there, and finding the main Irish bar closed and gloating doesn't help. In fact, given Boston's traditional links with the more politicised sections of the Irish diaspora, it was daft having them there at all.

By my reckoning, the Scots need four of the following to happen:

Group D: Australia beat Paraguay by two clear goals or Paraguay beat Australia by four clear goals.
Group E: Both Ecuador to fail to beat Germany and Curacao to fail to beat Ivory Coast.
Group F: Japan to beat Sweden by four clear goals.
Group G: Egypt to beat Iran.
Group H: Spain to beat Uruguay.
Group I: Senegal to fail to beat Iraq.
Group J: Austria to beat Algeria by two clear goals or Algeria to beat Austria by four clear goals.
Group K: Either DR Congo and Uzbekistan to draw or Uzbekistan to win by fewer than four goals.
Group L: Ghana to beat Croatia by three clear goals.

I can only see three of four happening. It's going to be squeaky bum time for SJM.
