Poor John, still hoping and praying, he gave everything. Love him.

Presumably England go through on Saturday.
What date would be the R32 game?
Only asking as in France until the 5th July.

Fuck all chance of them going through with all the rest of the games to play

41.8% chance according to Irish TV and Opta. Safe to say, they could do without Czechia or South Africa winning later.

His post-match interview was pretty petulant. His second one wasn't much better.

I don't pay much attention to Hollywood, but I'm not sure Gerard Butler is an A-lister.

This night just gets worse and worse for Scotland.

I'm with SE, the only butlers I know excluding my man servant are Jeeves and Geezer Butler.

Jeeves was a valet, not a butler 😉

He was a gentleman's gentleman who had a penchant for angling.

Wooster encouraged him in this proclivity on the grounds that fish stimulated his cerebral cortex.

South Africa beating South Korea has Scotland down another place currently.

Looks a bad injury to Tomas Soucek. Ankle completely gave way.

In Herne Bay, which fucking stinks.

Despite losing the group playing South Africa in LA isn’t a bad consolidation prize. Hopefully a game we can get through.

Great chance - better than playing South Korea as it would be like home game for them in LA.

Or a midnight kick off (UK time) on 3 July. Thursday night.

By my reckoning, the Scots need four of the following to happen:

Group D: Australia beat Paraguay by two clear goals or Paraguay beat Australia by four clear goals.
Group E: Both Ecuador to fail to beat Germany and Curacao to fail to beat Ivory Coast.
Group F: Japan to beat Sweden by four clear goals.
Group G: Egypt to beat Iran.
Group H: Spain to beat Uruguay.
Group I: Senegal to fail to beat Iraq.
Group J: Austria to beat Algeria by two clear goals or Algeria to beat Austria by four clear goals.
Group K: Either DR Congo and Uzbekistan to draw or Uzbekistan to win by fewer than four goals.
Group L: Ghana to beat Croatia by three clear goals.
