Another good chance for Canada spurned.

I'm at the Bosnia Qatar game in Seattle. Good atmosphere, louder than the Egypt game I saw. Not a bad game,  albeit with teams with limitations.

Stadium is very good, access good, facilities good and clean, everyone mixing, free WiFi that works etc.. The only significant downside is the cost.

Swiss win the group. Canada has several chances in stoppages but not enough.

A few more minutes in the other game but the Qataris aren't coming back so Bosnia through in 3rd place.

Gannon Doak is starting, which is a positive decision.

What were his parents thinking when they christened him Gannon?

They should have gone with Dick Van. That would rule.

Scotland will huff, puff and lose.

A heavy defeat would leave them nervy about making it through to the knockout stages.

Brazil's front 3 looks very impressive, can't see Scotland keeping a clean sheet.

I think they'll get battered but Scotland bring colour and entertainment to the competition. I am biased being a Celt (careful) and having Scottish family but give me SJM on the pitch for endeavour, effort and an unmatched desire that we have had the pleasure to see over the last few years.

Let's get SJM home early to R & R before the Super Cup game!  ;)

With schools closed for the heat my eight year old is staying up for his first 11pm kick off.

Fell asleep on the sofa at 10.58pm.
