Just cracked myself in the jaw when Valverde put that free kick over. Might be a bit too invested in this.

Done it. Wow. That was honestly superb. Watch the highlights when you get the chance.

They literally shoot from everywhere. 75 yards? Shoot. 45 yeards? Shoot. 30 yards close to the byline? Shoot. And they scored twice. Heroic defending at times as well. Just a brilliant, brilliant game of football.

Now Cabo Verde just need to beat Saudi Arabia to automatically go through. One of the poorest countries in the world against one of the richest. I know who my money's on. True 110%ers. Brilliant game.

Most entertaining game yet. CV are the stars of the tournament thus far. What I liked about it most and this WC as a whole is that referees are not having feigning injury.

I expect them to beat Saudi Arabia and clinch the runners-up spot in Group H, before getting thumped by Argentina.

A great watch, Cape Verde have already won regardless of what happens from here.

I’m sure you’re well aware that Irish bore Roberto Carlos Lopes of CV is a Shamrock Rovers player. Well done to him.

Of course, although he's better known as Pico Lopes here. Dublin born and bred, which helps explain why CV are doing so well. ;)

I wonder whether Tinder's a bit mainstream for Rory.

What on earth are you implying?

I'm only not on Tinder because I can't afford it, thank you very much!

Get in, 1-0 to the Kiwis. Lovely header, bad defending.
