My lads off to his mates tonight to watch the game, meaning Im watching solo, or with the wife feigning interest. When i jokingly protested to my son, he said you dont even like England (the team) that much anymore. What I actually said was if Engerland played Ireland, Id want Ireland to win every time. However, whilst I dont mind this team or Tuchel, i am getting older and tired of all the ten German bombers bullshit and the like. I know its not everyone who supports the team, but with the rise of the right over here, it feels like England doing well will be used as a radical right wing vehicle. Maybe I will feel differently as it goes on, but if they win tonight good, fair play, if Croatia win, kind of, fair play as well.
