In my prediction we play Argentina in the Semis. I look forward to Emi being the most hated man in the country.

Likely quarters for England are Brazil so, yeah no.

It's absolutely not a given that Brazil beat us. They have been knocked out the last 5 world cups when facing their first European team (in the knockout stages).

I hope England get knocked out at the earliest possible opportunity, but agreed.

The current Brazil side are nothing for England to fret about. They can match them and more.

Spotted a few Villa shirts and flags at the Scotland game.

Was either Scotland or Villa shirts. Didn't really see any others.

New York based Villa fan I follow on BlueSky was at the game in his Villa top and McGinn came over and had pictures with him.

I only watched bits, until the competitive matches start it's too dull watching glorified training sessions.

There is a quite extraordinary article on the BBC website where McNulty appears to dish out a bollocking to Tuchel about what he's doing wrong, almost as if he knows better. Odd.
