I don't like the yellowy-orangey-gold, and I prefer blue sleeves that go up onto the shoulder.

They're fine when they're done right e.g. the last two seasons, but the 2008/09 kit irritated me no end.

Training gear

Click me

Ugly as fcuk thankfully (grey with claret and blue?!), I've spent a fair few bob on Villa gear recently, some of the Adidas retro stuff is great but thankfully not tempted by this.

Sounds like we'll have the "Visit Rwanda" patches on the sleeves next season.

Don’t even joke about it.
I would say over my (friend’s friend) dead body, but then that’s literally true (the horrors of their current Govt) and what https://www.gunnersforpeace.co.uk literally campaigned about to get shot of them.

See the Gunners “Visit Tottenham” video on that link, they argue literally better to have on their shirt than Rw.
Good on them for doing their own arm bands to cover the sportswashing.

Some have said that it's on screens at VP today. Will be shit if we have that on our kits.

Is it a really set up for tourism or is more just regime putting a western gloss on themselves by association? It looks absolutely stunning.

Please tell me it’s not true.

It’s direct sport washing by the current horrific regime that’s kidnapped tortured a close friend and killed his friend https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kizito_Mihigo who co-authored the national anthem. One of my great regrets is failing to mobilise journalists when he was taken and imprisoned before his “suicide”, the Africa correspondent for one of our broadsheets I’d got hold of on Signal failed to bite when we had a great window to expose his capture/kidnap as the Queen was over at the time.
Then we heard he died.

I am in disbelief if this is true.

A documentary film is in edit about my friend; there is much bad publicity ahead if this is true.

It may be bollocks and just a few people talking shite online. I haven't seen any actual proof there's anything at VP.

As the person who posted about VR on the screen this morning, I echo that it may indeed be bollocks, and I hope it is.
