I think it looks spiffing in the video as part of a whole kit, better than it does in the images. Maybe I can get some sepia contact lenses to watch matches.

I'm a big fan of blue sleeves, and not the ones that are just the arm bit, I like some good old-fashioned blue shoulder action, too. I also don't like the badge not being in colour.

But it does look smart (for a football jersey), and I shall await with interest what it looks like in full-blooded action.

Apparently the old fella at the start of the video next to the "Walk Around Pitch" sign is former Villa player Mick Wright who played for us between 1963 and 1973.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Wright_(footballer,_born_1946)

Thanks for pointing that out TS, he appears very briefly but I can see it's Mick Wright now. I think he went into car auctions after playing.

He was in charge of the British Car Auctions branch at Castle Bromwich. His father-in-law ran the company.
My very first job after returning from Poly in 1979 was there.
A 1st team regular until his career was cut short by injury. Todays team is Withers, Wright, Aitken...........
The good old bad old days!

Yep, Mick Wright was part of that same team almost every game.
Some of my first Villa heroes!

I wasn't looking at the shirt but thought it was going to pull back to show two other players were doing the goggle hands for him.

Exactly the same. Those arms looked way off.

First impressions aren't good but it might grow on me by the end of the season!

Are Audi rumoured to be the shirt sponsor?

Rumoured, but others saying it isn't Audi. https://x.com/JUSTIN_AVFC_/status/2059268166266593427

As long as the logo is light blue or white, and not too obtrusive, it should be fine.
..tbh that looks good, and in the flesh I've got a feeling it will be better. It will sell like hot cakes no doubt . The away could be a classic

I get that it's not a traditional Villa kit, but the design is relatively clean, and it's got favourable comments from a lot of non-Villa fans. I suspect that, with the right sponsor, it will look quite smart on the pitch/telly.

Every non-Villa fan I have seen mention it says that it's shit.
