If it's a different shade of claret, they can get fcuked.
it is

Inexcusable tbh that we don't have an agreed shade of claret.

According to:
https://teamcolorcodes.com/aston-villa-fc-color-codes/

Villa - Claret =
Hex Color: #670e36;
RGB: (103,14,54)
CMYK: (41,99,55,45)
PANTONE: PMS 222 C

Burnley =
Burgundy
PANTONE: PMS 222
Hex Color: #6C1D45;
rgb(108,29,69)
CMYK: (20,100,22,61)

West Ham =
Maroon
Pantone: PMS 7638 C
Hex Color: #7A263A;
rgb: (122, 38, 58)
hsl: (344, 68, 47)
CMYK: (36, 92, 63, 35)

don't know if that's definitive, but it suits WH now they're marooned in the '2nd' division.

Based on those numbers...

Guys oh my fucking lord oh my god.
What's bugging you, chum?

Apparently the old fella at the start of the video next to the "Walk Around Pitch" sign is former Villa player Mick Wright who played for us between 1963 and 1973.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Wright_(footballer,_born_1946)

Thanks for pointing that out TS, he appears very briefly but I can see it's Mick Wright now. I think he went into car auctions after playing.

He was in charge of the British Car Auctions branch at Castle Bromwich. His father-in-law ran the company.
My very first job after returning from Poly in 1979 was there.
A 1st team regular until his career was cut short by injury. Todays team is Withers, Wright, Aitken...........

Nah nothin', having a lovely evening. Just can't believe I now the pantone number of Villa's official claret shade. This reflects horribly on me, on all of us.

Down the road from me, if I'd known that as a kid I'd have been down there to pester him as I did with Gary Shaw and Steve Hunt.

Love the video, not so keen on the kit but not too bothered by it. Would have preferred blue sleeves, but not completely against them going rogue.

[Closing a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore] Only this and nothing more tbh.

We're all overlooking the real crime here - the club's use of upper and lower case on social media.

It's certainly a choice.
