Apparently the old fella at the start of the video next to the "Walk Around Pitch" sign is former Villa player Mick Wright who played for us between 1963 and 1973.

That video is marvellous and made me laugh out loud.  Emery reminds me of a Captain Von Trapp in that jacket.

Away shirt would be lovely if all the trim was claret and blue but with the gold I just see a Wolves sway shirt.

If it's a different shade of claret, they can get fcuked.
it is

Inexcusable tbh that we don't have an agreed shade of claret.

According to:
https://teamcolorcodes.com/aston-villa-fc-color-codes/

Villa - Claret =
Hex Color: #670e36;
RGB: (103,14,54)
CMYK: (41,99,55,45)
PANTONE: PMS 222 C

Burnley =
Burgundy
PANTONE: PMS 222
Hex Color: #6C1D45;
rgb(108,29,69)
CMYK: (20,100,22,61)

West Ham =
Maroon
Pantone: PMS 7638 C
Hex Color: #7A263A;
rgb: (122, 38, 58)
hsl: (344, 68, 47)
CMYK: (36, 92, 63, 35)

don't know if that's definitive, but it suits WH now they're marooned in the '2nd' division.

Based on those numbers...

Thanks for pointing that out TS, he appears very briefly but I can see it's Mick Wright now. I think he went into car auctions after playing.

It’s very good and the kit is already growing on me.

I haven't seen such a difference since that photo of Chris the sheep after he'd been frightened by the scary BBC sound effects album.

Horrific stuff. West Ham and Burnley might as well be playing in fucking mauve.

Considering they nicked their colours off us, the least they could have done is keep the colours identical. It's a disgrace!

Get with it, Daddio! It's all about very slight discrepancies in tones of deepish red now. Ya, dig?

Mrs really likes it. Tend to believe she has a better sense of style than most on here, so it's a winner for me.
