Currently at New St, brilliant turn out. The city is most definitely ours!

I reckon there were more people there, with about 18 hours notice, than any of the bullshit rallies in London. Which just shows that the will of the people is for Villa to win trophies.

Just got back. I was on Sheepcote street at first then went all the way to Baskerville which still had access to the edge of Centenery. Unfortunately the sound system and screen were blocked by the screens so didn't get good shots of the players or hear to much. Some of the players were very quiet through it as well but obviosly would have come through the TV better. Hoping to rewatch the stream later.

Anyone notice the people on the balconies at HSBC. The lower balcony seemed rammed all the time but the upper one cleared away just after the team arrived.

It's all there on YouTube for posterity. McInally spoke well, as usual.

Had tears in my eyes watching the parade here at work, let's just say I had to go outside for a stroll and get myself together.

I'm so fucking proud of our club, our players, our management team, our owners, and you supporters!!

Holy crap. The main item on the 6 O'clock news.

We hog the main news - we hog the main news
We're Aston Villa - we hog the main news

They're not happy on SHA, they feel it's a poor use of the licence fee.

They’ll get their turn when they establish global football dominance under the chimneys

I’m sure they chuckled when John McGinn started the crowd singing ‘shitting on the city.’

That was a special watch. Nice to see some of those players able to drop their guards and be so human. Hammered humans, admittedly.

What a wonderful afternoon! Beers in the Rose Villa and then outside for the parade
Bathed in sunshine and a hundred conversations with Villa brothers and sisters of all ages. Topped off by the team etc arriving and having the time of their lives.

We really have a special club that, on days like today combines a sense of history and achievement with familiarity and closeness - it's a unique quality that I hope we never lose.

A great occasion.

Nice way of putting it.
