Delighted for the kid, but also wary we've dropped a bollock on this one.  He was obviously highly rated throughout his time coming through the academy, until his big injury kept him out, I think, for almost a year when he was 16/17-ish?  I'm sure the club knows better than anyone what he's capable of, but I also suspect he will now have a point to prove, so I hope we're not ruing this decision in a few years...

I'm a bit surprised by this one because he'd been training with the first team a fair bit towards the end of last season (including being the only youth player in the photos before the cup final). Ah well, good luck to him.

I reckon it's low fee, but with a buyback / sell-on clause. If he's going to get regular minutes there that boosts his value, then it's a win-win, I guess.

As a right winger, will he just be in for pre-season then a first loan, or does anyone think he may be used more this season?
