Looks like I have been able to cancel my purchase through Ticombo, so I no longer have spare tickets!

Have you loaded the ticket up on your phone yet?
If not, I guess someone could just log into the app under your name and password and hope there's no ID checks at the ground.
But I would think getting your money back on the resale would probbaly be safer.

Not yet, but the UEFA site also says the tickets have to match phone you registered with
Phone has to match. Work updated my phone and UEFA not.recognising it. I will have to go to stadium early on Wednesday

Anyone tickets showing in the UEFA app yet? The confirmation email I received does specifically say that tickets will be ready to download closer to the match, but if other people are already seeing something in the app then obviously I'm going to panic immediately and enormously.

That’ll be for people who were successful in the UEFA ballot not Villa tickets.

I see. Thanks. I'll delay my panic by a few days in that case.

I had this problem at the last Euros when my phone died and the UEFA tix app refused to recognise the new one. There's an email on the site, which reset my UEFA account inside 24 hours and I could log back in and see the tickets no problem.

I'm seeing a lot of posts elsewhere from people who are miffed at not getting a ticket for the final, despite holding a season ticket through the Championship and circling-the-drain years.

Of course, those who have gone to the European games, and the away games deserve first dibs, but I'd hope that when it came to the ballot some sort of preference was given to those with season ticket longevity over someone, for instance, who jumped on board more recently.

I got that impression from the stuff I've seen elsewhere. It must be pretty crushing to lose out in the ballot like that if you really want to go.

Just had a look on Ticombo out of curiosity.  Holy fuck they’re expensive!  At least its good to know there’s an option if my Euromillions comes in tonight.

Not for me, as that's just age discrimination. It isn't a teenager's fault if their parents didn't take them to games years ago. It should just be season tickets holders who have attended the most non-ST games, on a sliding scale, then STs, then Members who have attended the most games if there are any left. And domestic cups should be treated same as Europe, attending one European game isn't better than doing three cup matches. Arbitrary nonsense.

Are people still receiving allocation codes?
Or were they all sent out pretty much within an hour or so of 10 this morning

There will be fans who despite having a season ticket for 40 years and going to all the Europa home games will have missed out on a first European final in 44 years.

I suppose they can try again next time in the afterlife. :)
