It seems Endrick wants more game time so is looking to get away from Real Madrid and is open to a loan.  Should we?

Not if we plan to have Watkins / Madjo / Abraham in the squad.

Particularly Watkins, if he'd be coming in for game time.

Doesn't he play on the right as much as through the centre? I don't know but I always had him as being similar to a lot of the top attackers around now in that he likes to come in off the wing rather than being a hold-up player. If that's right I can see him working pretty well along any of those 3, would be potentially difficult to play both him and Garnacho unless we change our shape but it'd definitely give us plenty of threat from the wide players, which has been missing.

He's been shunted wide occasionally to find space for him in a team, but he sees himself as a number nine and that's where he's said he wants to play.

So if he were to go on loan somewhere, you'd think he'd make it a priority for it to be somewhere that will use him in the way he wants.

I could see Endrick being someone Newcastle might look at but doubt it would happen.

His miss against Norway was worse than a Vassell one-on-one.

I saw his Lyon heat map the other day and it was firmly on the right. Whether that's what he wants like Dave said I have no idea.

Yep, that's what I was basing my comment on as well. Like you I have no idea if he's complained about that, If I'm honest he's a player I've heard mention of a lot but I've never really watched him or paid a huge amount of attention until I saw his name mentioned here.

Damian appears to have said?.

?We need a midfielder because Amadou Onana will be out for the entire season, and Jo?o Palhinha is a very good player who would fit our plans,? Vidagany stated. ?We are in talks, but there?s currently no agreement. If anything does happen, it will always be on the basis of the big respect we have for FC Bayern. Our clubs are friends, and our relationship with Max Eberl, Christoph Freund and all the other people in charge is excellent. That is why I cannot and do not want to comment on any further details.?

Paulinha looks a good fit all round to give cover in midfield. We clearly need a right sided attacker and or a player that can drop in at 10/ second striker in the way Rogers did, while we don't know yet what Manzambi is like or his role.

A forward that can play on the right or off a striker seems to make sense though, and Endrick looks a very talented player, so if we are in for him great. I guess he's in competition with Ryan and Jo?o Pedro for Brazil. Trouble is our most effective player on the right is still McGinn, and our most effective striker is Watkins, so he's going to have to be exceptional to get in the side there.

Centre half still worries me, as does our passing ability from midfield without Tielemans.

Tim Vickery was saying the other day how good the Brazilian Allan (sp?) is but his club don?t have to sell but the right amount could get him.

No wonder Brazil is cack at world cups now. You?re not gonna win anything with Allan?s, Wesley?s and Dougie?s. Make Brazilian names great again!

I've never got the hype with him. He's looked very average whenever I've seen him.

100% this. We need cover for Onana from a body perspective. I?d actually be tempted to try and replace that with someone of the more Tielemans mould though - Kamara and Gomes can cover what Onana gave us. We absolutely must get an attacking player though or we?re risking relying on Manzambi and Garnacho to cover Rogers which seems a tall / unlikely order (& I?m hopeful on both of those two).
We also need to start prepping for centre back. We?re going to lose both Konsa and torres at some point in the next 2 years so we need to start prepping for that sooner rather than later (plus Mings is only going one way and Lindelof won?t go on for ever although hopefully Cisse can step up).

I suspect TJ Carol will be ready to step up next year
