Well Spudz fans seem to have been saying for a while that he’s not kicked on and should be sold.  Loan to buy seems fair enough if Unai can work his magic.

When I was a kid/tween/teen/twenteen, I used to hate us signing players on-loan. "Don't fall for them, they'll only break yer 'eart after 6 months". These days, they're my favorite type of signing. No multi-year wage commitments fcuking up our SCR if (when) they end-up underwhelming. Funny how it all falls away.

I'm exactly the same.

I used to see it as a waste because either they'd be rubbish and a waste of a squad space, or they'd be good and we'd lose them.

Nowadays it feels like a free hit.
