I don’t care about any of all that. The more pertinent point is does he add value to us now? Not sure he does.

🚨 NEW: Aston Villa have enquired about Marseille’s Igor Paixão (26).
@lequipe

He was tidy when he played for Feyenoord.

He was rather shit for Fulham.

7 goal involvements in 23 games as far as I can make out. For whatever reason I don’t think he started that many games, considering we need a winger and he’s played under UE, like I said, surprised he’s not been linked.

Your assessment must be more accurate than mine!!

And would be expensive and spend most of his time injured.

Let's not try and buy every half-decent player Emery used to manage at the Yellow Submarine. It's a big world of football out there y'know, he doesn't need to have worked with them when they were 21 and not yet corrupted by their agents.

Grealish pissing off set us back a year and cost a good man his job. Could've been a legend and a well-paid one at that but choose to model cheap shit, get pissed in plain view and let everything that Grealish was be coached clean out of him. Villa have moved on.

I'm not keen on Grealish coming back, but that good man cost himself the job. I just don't think he is a premier league level manager (his careers says as much) and there's nothing wrong with that.

He's not even that effective any more. He's not selfish enough to take shots on, dunno if it's a lack of confidence but Ndiaye and Stately-Home had far more end-product last season even before Grealish got whacked.

Which is why we ought to leave Jacob Ramsey in the past.

Why is this forum always having trouble loading now?

Anyway, Grealish being spoken about on Twatter. It's a no from me.

Yes, I'm having problems loading the forum as well.....is there a glitch?

Would he improve the squad Yep.
Would he play often enough? No. His occasional excessive lifestyle is catching up with him.
Is he as good as he was when he left us? I don't think so.
Would he be expensive for a team who had to watch the pounds due to the rules? Very relatively speaking.
Are there better options? Yeah.

It is a No from me.
