Why is this forum always having trouble loading now?

Anyway, Grealish being spoken about on Twatter. It's a no from me.

I’m not a fan of signing Barcelona wonder kids (though I can only remember us signing Barry (not that one) and Traoré (not that one).

Napoli did ok with theirs.

Bernal has a €500 million release clause. There's no chance he's joining us for £30m, and I doubt he'd even consider the move if Barcelona accepted a £300m bid.

Barca have no problem selling their youth cheap with buy back options at all.
30 million is probably on the hopeful side but he isn't going for anywhere near his release clause which is mandatory in Spain.

They whack a ludicrous release clause that they know no one will pay. Wasn't felix about 500 million too? What was he sold for 30?

Yeah, they sell those that they don't consider to be good enough (Guiu, Faye, Road, Velle) but Bernal is a different beast. Untouchable.

Pique, Cesc, Torres they were on the verge of selling us Fort last season and he's also one of their elite players. I would be surprised if we got him but they may see 2 years in the prem under an elite manager playing every season in Europe as the perfect platform for him to learn his craft with a sensible buy back of around double what we paid there is very little downside for them.

He might just like to play and there’s little chance of getting in ahead of their current crop of midfielders.

I’m surprised we’ve not been linked with Chukwueze, played under Unai at Villareal and he seemed to play well, on the odd occasion I saw him, on loan at Fulham last season.

This link screams extremely unlikely, not least because the source is The S*n. How would they have got ahead of Journalists closer to the club.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.  Although on this occasion I doubt they have this right.
