^That's a shout. I'd love to see them stabilised.

Equally unsurprising is the number of posts asking them to go and get Guardiola.

That'd be a proper test of his ability and great for the PL.  Luckily for us it will never happen.
He seems to be a bit of a Hurzeler type.  But the difference being their expectancy levels are off the scale up there.

Who is the rumoured replacement?

Matthias Jaissle - currently managing in Saudi League.

Nah, Hall is perfect for the way their new manager likes to play.

You're familiar with the Saudi and Austrian leagues? Impressive.
No.  But I read about him when I saw the story and it sounds like he uses a high energy press and advanced fullbacks.

Fair enough.

I wondee if JJ regrets turning down Villa's new contract last year. Sure he's richer but his football Dad is gone now.

Silly lad, come on home and we'll say no more about it.

I have seen a number of the Geordie podcasters insta posts - and when you can decipher what they are saying they are very worried.  But surprisingly a large number seemed to want Howe to leave.  Equally unsurprising is the number of posts asking them to go and get Guardiola.

There was likely a feeling that they could get a better manager, even though I think Howe has done a decent job up there. I can’t see many of them having heard of this new bloke though, so be careful what you wish for, of course it might work out for them but seems a bit of a punt to me.

They must have offered better wages than Ipswich.

Mbappe has to be worried.
