Hull are after Guessand and Bailey

Cheers, just got 3/1 on Hull to avoid relegation.

Watching Evann for Villa I dreamed of the heady heights of “erratic”.

Guessand isn't a winger though, even if we have tried (and failed) to make him into one. He's really an attacking midfielder. I'd like Unai to give him a pre season chance there at least, before we bin him at a loss.

Every time I have seen Guessand play for the Ivory Coast he has been down the middle.

A Palace mate says that is where Glasner played him too. He reckons he was OK, not shite.

He was shit for us because he rarely played in what you'd think was his best position which is more centrally. A position he more readily played at his former clubs in France. Why Unai punted him to the wing I'll never know. His confidence wouldn't have been helped as he turned in poor performance after next. At Palace he was played more to where he is accustomed and he started show a little form. This isn't me saying we should keep him because he just isn't at the level of a club in the top 6.

Barrenechea
Dobbin
Malen
Garcia
Digne
Tielemans
Bailey (?)
Rogers
Barry
Swinkels
Sancho
Elliott

Spent a long time doing that with Malen too.

And that's all a bit odd given he saw in Rogers a guy playing purely on the wing and thought "no, let's move you more into the middle".

Dobbin has 100% scoring record for Southampton this season. Another mind boggling transfer.

"Palmeiras have rejected a €30 million ($34m) offer from Aston Villa for their Brazilian forward Allan, sources have told ESPN.

The Premier League outfit presented a €25 million ($28m) bid plus €5m in add-ons for the versatile 22-year-old.

Palmeiras turned down the offer as they consider Allan a key player and believe his market value will rise."

Not sure who the 'sources' are though.

Bayern Munich publicly state Palhinha and a couple of others have no future there. A bit harsh IMO considering how clubs and fans would react if some player they wanted to keep said the same thing in reverse.

But still, good for us if we want him. Personally I’d prefer Garner, but I suppose a loan would mean us having more of our money available to spend elsewhere.

Could be a good time putting in a bid for Lewis Hall now that Howe has left the Toon, they seem in disarray.
