A Sandwell Town mate reckons they are having Hemmings.

On loan I assume or with very favourable buy back terms. I’d be okay with that except they’ve not really looked after any of our other youngsters

Whilst we’ve looked after theirs ;-)

Hemmings to WBA would be ok, as long as he gets lots of time on the pitch and not get treated the same as Illing-Junior.  Potential recall for January in place too.  Sensible move if it happens.

Chelsea really flipping their transfer strat on it's head. In for Welbeck according to Ornstein.

All over BBC now, it’s just baffling.  They value Jackson at £60m who is on their books and want to replace him with 35 year old Welbeck whose value is now pretty negligible?!? I don’t understand it
It seems a bit like spin the wheel and let’s hope we get lucky.

And weirdly in for Henderson. I know Morgan raved about how funny he was for England but shiiiiitt

Based on recent loans there, it would be rubbish! If he's going anywhere, and I hope he stays and gets games, send him to a progressive footballing side, FFS.

At a guess Chelsea had a very young squad last season and it counted against them at times so he wants to add a few more experienced players into the mix. Which doesn't sound like a terrible idea but they have to be able to actually keep up the pace and at their ages that's something that's only going to get more difficult.

I also think if you going to shoe-horn in a bit of experience a striker is a strange choice.

I wouldn't give them Haemorrhoids. Tantrum wankers who will drop him for a clogger at the first sign of trouble.

Any player we loan them will be chiefly Club Scapegoat.

🚨 Aston Villa will aim to recruit another wide player following the arrival of Alejandro Garnacho, but it’s only likely to take place once there have been player departures, namely Leon Bailey, who is in discussions with Hull City — salary terms & a financial package are yet to be agreed.
@J_Tanswell

🚨 NEW: Aston Villa continue to explore striking options in case of a possible departure. Ollie Watkins is into the final two years of his contract, while the club are listening to offers for Tammy Abraham — Nicolas Jackson remains a long-standing target. @J_Tanswell

Jesus, do we all have to say 'package' now just because Romano does?

Good to see we still want a right winger although the pool is getting smaller on options. If Mbaye is off the table, Summerville has gone to Saudi and Barnes has signed a new deal, who else were we linked with? I think I'd almost prefer a punt on Gittens than Jackson out of Chelsea.

One at Feynoord that plays on the right with a lovely left peg from highlights I saw?

There was another really young kid but think he's going to Chelsea too.

I said a month or so back i'd likeus to take a look at Osorio at Midtjylland, he looks like the sort of player who'd do really well under Emery, happy to draw players in, can play about 5-6 different positions, is decent with both feet. Obviously it's a big step up from Denmark to the premier league so he wouldn't be a signing to have an immediate impact but I get the feeling he'd have a similar growth to Rogers and would very quickly step up his game with better players around him. Also would only be about £15m and on a pretty low wage so worst case we'd get our money back on him pretty easily.

I'd rather someone like that than going for an out and out striker because I like the flexibility it offers.

Well, I think he only has another 12 months on his contract.
