My concern is that we are selling proven premier league players like Ollie and talk about Jackson coming in who has tried and failed in the premiership. It is really depressing to see the stranglehold the top four or five have in the amount of money they can offer players.

The Jackson (heeehee) has come from clickbait shite.

The last point here is spot on as how will that ever change, and are the rest of the PL bothered apart from maybe us and Newcastle?

No, the majority are happy with finishing anywhere from 17 upwards.

Watkins is so much better than Jackson. Don't do it.

Who has actually said we are selling Ollie?

Nobody but us, Newcastle and Forest at the moment, but that’s not a negative. We don’t want equality with clubs below us in revenue terms.

We’re not so far behind the teams above us (again, in revenue terms) that we can’t compete with them, and we’re getting closer.

Tanswell brought it up yesterday on a podcast.

The Jackson stuff is entirely plausible. If it were replacing Tammy then I’m all for that, Watkins not so much.

Ollie has been linked with Manure today.  Spurious source but still.

If it’s a spurious source it means little more than me saying we’re going to sign Yamal.

We are going for Yamal but being so young he’s still too shy to leave Spain.

I'd take Jackson definitely.

Nicolás Jackson, ooh, are you for real
Always seems to make defenders cry
He is gonna score a trillion times

Don't bother nicking it without crediting me, thanks.

I just hope, with all the sales of some of our key players, that it has all been okayed by Emery  and it's all partly balancing the books and partly Emery's plan to add a new pieces to the jigsaw.  If not, I worry that Emery will just say "fuck this shite" in Spanish and bail on us. In essence, I hope all of this is not being done over his head.

Good job Delph signed that new contract otherwise he would be off as well.
