I still say he was the most patronising man I've ever met, and that includes Doug.

Christian is a very erudite chap isn’t he.

Yeah you'd miss him a bit until remembering he's a Tory donor.

And that he was responsible for Gerrard.

Rodri off to Real Madrid. Boobie uncontested best defensive midfielder in the league now.

That is why we'll nobble him ourselves in training come April to keep him here again next summer.

I find all the worrying a bit exhausting. If there is one thing Ive learnt since late October 2022, at the moment we have no need to worry.

What I will say for Vinnie is that everything he has said, Tanswell has confirmed on the podcast. Fenerbache are seriously interested in Watkins, 15/20m probably gets you Martinez and Arsenal haven't met our valuation yet for Konsa. The Martinez one being the most mental because there just isn't any point in selling him for that.

I mean Man City have already spent £116m replacing Rodri so I'm not sure what there really is to be worried about.

Speaking to somone tonight on Jackson and how we could be “creative”. Suggestion that taking a hit on a low initial fee then contingent add ons, like certain appearances etc would be a way of only shaving a small amount off and actually logging it as a “swap deal” as the upfront fee would be the only one officially registered

Why do so many want out and should we be worried about what's going on?

I'm surprised nobody's done a rolling loan deal yet. For instance, a player has 5 years left on his contract. A club offers to pay £10m loan fee each year for those 5 and commits to doing that each year for 5 years. If they don't, they then have to pay up the remainder of the arrangement, be it £40m, £30m, £20m or £10m.
