I find it hard to believe that after winning a trophy and qualifying for the CL, six key players would want to piss off. This would never happen at any other club so why ours?

Yes, but only when the price outweighs the benefit of keeping them.  You then need to add in the context that we are already without key players next season.

£40m might be a 'reasonable' bid for Konsa.  But having lost Onana, Tielemans, Rogers and Digne, the lost value over the next 12-24 months might be worth it to keep some of the spine of the team.

I can't see any circumstances where selling Martinez this window can make sense.  Even at £20m, we're giving ourselves a big problem that we just don't need to take on at this point.

Nobody's said no-one wants to stay. So far we've lost a mercenary, a player making a dream final move and a British transfer record sale. Two have been replaced and the third will be.

Agree with that. I also think the reality is Rogers and Tielemans have added 50-100% to their wages, with 5-6 year contracts. It’s not a massive mystery why they’re tempted.
