I think we still need another midfielder, the squad is still a bit thin without Onana being available.  I also can't see much in the way of game-changers off the bench.  I'd like another number 10 if we have the money.
Garner would be a great acquisition but may be too costly.
... he could park his motorhome on the VP carpark, as well.

Little Emi had a great end to the season but was largely inconsistent and is only one player. I thought he was brilliant when it really mattered but this current hole in the squad puts a bit of pressure on him to perform. Hopefully it works, but we need a couple more.

I wonder if Emi is going to play a lot more central, which is his preferred position, alternating with Mcginn, possibly with a tweak to the system now Rogers has departed. He had opportunities there before his injury 2 years ago, and we've purchased two players who appear to prefer playing off the left. Or could he do the Mcginn role if he's rested.

Not sure why he’d move knowing he’s going there as cover for Saliba’s injury?

He’d almost certainly be 3rd choice centre-back, playing in the domestic cups and missing all the big games when everyone is fit.

If Arsenal have a short term centre back issue, then surely they’d just get John Stones on a free?

If he goes, I’ll be disappointed, but I suspect not as disappointed as he’ll be when everyone there is fit.

I'm not sure they'd go for Stones as he is a football player, not a wrestler.

Stones was a top target, but when they spoke to him they discovered their valuations were different.

Stones wanted to join on a free transfer, but Arsenal wouldn't go above their -£20m valuation.

It will be interesting to see how little Emi does this season - for me he is still a decent substitute- bring him on for the last 20 minutes of the game

He did well in the 6 games of last season but in a lot of performances before that he was quite poor

Suspect he had less poor performances than Rogers or Watkins. Bournemouth, Tottenham x 2, Feyenoord, Bologna, Newcastle.

Like everybody else he needs competition for minutes. That's where I'm expecting Manzambi to be challenging.

Garner would be great. Maybe he has a CL club release clause tucked away in that new contract.

Doesn't sound good with Konsa. Apparently there's been a new contract on the table for a while and it remains unsigned. Similar to Tielemans.

Arsenal wont spend what we want. Based on history of Luiz, Watkins, Rodgers - ill say they wont in this case either.
In turn Konsa will sign a new deal once everything else is off the table (all imo)

that's disappointing. Given the turnover though, I'd be pretty loathe to lose him this year assuming his head hasn't been fully turned. I think keeping Martinez, Konsa and Watkins for this year now becomes incredibly important for some level of continuity to the first 11

There is a very real possibility that Watkins, Emi and Konsa do go - all depends on other clubs

Weirdly (and again my own opinion no insight) - out those 3 - id say Watkins most likely. too much smoke around his name at the moment

Konsa - cant see arsenal finally paying whats needed
Emi - Juve are a piss take so that wont happen - so unless anyone else suddenly comes in for decent money or he fancies Saudi then he stays

Fenerbache 100% in for Watkins (thats the fact part)

Even after signing two strikers for massive amounts of money this month?

So they're all probably going but they're staying?
